Someone recently reminded me of an old profile I had. I'd forgotten the exact format of the username, hence, the new one. I was able to log in and rediscovered a couple of old poems I'd submitted. Does anyone know of a way I can reclaim them for my current profile?

You'll have to directly contact Laurel to do that. She starts almost every thread in the "Awards and Contests" section of the forum, so you can easily find her profile and Private Message her from there.

I was under the impression you could ask for your profile to be removed completely. If this is the case would this not solve your problem? Then you can post them under your new name.

This popped up with someone else not long ago. The upshot of it was the "second" account name had to somehow prove to Laurel that they were in fact the "first" account name - and the content was theirs to begin with. IIRC, the person was able to do that, but I don't know how.

I had someone who's work I was editing with the same problem. I think she solved it with an email from the original account saying. "I'm so and so and would like my work moved."
I don't know how that would work if you don't have access to the original account. Maybe saying "My previous email was xxxxxx."

But in this instance tatiana_on_a_leash, as I understood her post, has now been able to access her old account. If so she sends in a request either to delete the stories, which is possible because I’ve done it, or ask for the profile to be deleted completely which can be done. But she has to have access to her old profile. She can’t have it deleted by requesting it from her new profile because she can’t prove she’s the same person.
