this will be short and to the point:
i see and hear so much regarding men submissives and very little about women sumissives.
am i the only one who likes being dominated?
i mean looovves being dominated. :)

No, you're not the only one. Actually, I see more about women subs than men.

Subs do it better!

oh Dixon darling .. I want to be your slave too .. you promised ... now i feel so damn used .. :(

From a Domme's point of view ...

*chuckles* Geeze - now you all knew I had to comment on this one right??

The truth is, morganfairy, that the number of confessing female subs is higher than that of male confessing subs. Actually - if you look around literotica closely you should notice that (as far as displayed behaviour is concerned anyway) there are many more female subs than male.

From all my experiences on the web in general there are more (confessing) female subs by far than male (just try to go to any of the NUMEROUS Gor-related web sides, which support mainly the principles od female "slavery").

Now, I can't tell this is representative to people feeling that way, since of course me being a Mistress I get more direct requests from male subs then female, yet the fact is that I know a lot more Doms with female subs than the other way round.

I better not get into the why and what I think about it *lol* - I had written another looooong paragraph on my thoughts about the "why" and the general perceptions and prejudices of society about this subject *g* ... but I better not bore you with it *lol*

The answer to the original question/post though is:
there are more female than male (confessing) subs on literotica from all I know. *chuckles* I would dare even a guess and say it is 50%, or more likely more of all Literotica female regulars who have a thing for sexual D/s games *s*

i would love to get your input. :)
also, i guess maybe i'm paying attention in the wrong places to see what seems obvious to everyone else.

Is this were I write a request?
I for one would love you to post that paragraph or at least post a link to it if you wrote it in another thread. What? You want me to beg or something? Here goes: (Think that dog in the Bacon Strip commercial)

Nope, I like it too. My question is do you enjoy being dominated more by men or women and do you ever switch?

I do think women have difficulty admitting to being submissive due to modern stereotypes. Too many people think all subs are weak. I manage the retail operations for an independant design house. After spending all day telling everyone else what to do, I want the responsibilty taken out of my hands and just follow orders. It took a lot to admit that to myself and let go and enjoy.

The Question is.........

:p

for those sincerely interested in the D/s lifestyle, i strongly recommend "bondage a go-go" in the yahoo adult chat rooms. and, as a primer for that site, http://www.novicium.homestead.com.

"there's going to be a freakers ball, way down in the freakers hall and we're invited one and A/all!"

kitten eyes:
mostly i tend to be more submissive with men, not by choice though. i seem to find the women who are pretty inhibited and/or unexperienced.
also, i totally agree w/ your comment regarding letting go of the responsibility after a long day.

siren:
i did not realize my "fascination" with submission until recently, so i haven't the opportunity to experience either a dom or mistress. in answer, to your question, no. i do not have a desire to submit to just any sexual partner.

Knowing Your Place

I think the best relationships are based on the knowlege of who we are, and accepting one another as such. When a sub that knows they are a sub meets a dom that knows they are a dom/me, the electricity is as strong as that of a violet wand. Just thought I would stick my nose in and say that. Hope my daddy doesn't catch me posting on the big people's board.

sorry it took me so long ....

.. to get back to those asking for my opinion.

I am atm working on a lengthy essay about this subject , about why we may have trouble to admit either to the sub or Dom side and all - it is "in progress" and then can be found on my web page (anomgst other thoughts on the topic of D/s)

Sorry all - hope this sin't considered spam *blushing* and it only represents my personal opinions and thoughts on the subject.

Okay but -

Submissiveness in women is okay - but only to the extent before total ambivalence. I like genuine, enthusiastic, vocal encouragement.

Who doesn't like being controlled to some extent during sex. I know I love having to beg to stop some sort of sexual act that is becoming torturous? Besides isn't that what you do Hecate? Push the bounds of what can be tolerated?
