well Mr. Rosco i am definitely more homely than halle berry...and with only 1/4 the boobs, lol. Etoile has really set up anyone we meet from here in the future for a huge disappoint, lol.

OSG, thank you for answering my question in part, but I'm still curious to know whether the requirement for you to relinquish all responsibility for everything and anything came originally from you or from your Master.

Now to me, holding a conversation with someone whose opinions don't count towards the relationship in any valid way would be similar to talking to a wall. Even pet animals make their feelings & desires known in no uncertain manner and in so doing they actively contribute to the relationship with their owners, nor do they tend to wait until an appropriate time to do so.

Obviously you have some freedom of expression or you wouldn't be posting here and yes, your posts are often entertaining & well thought out. You do have a brain so please, why did you choose to live the way you do & just how far does it go?

you seem to have this idea that i had it all figured out in my mind the "proper" way to be as a submissive or the proper way to be as a slave. far from it. i just wanted/hoped/dreamed to be able to have a relationship and way of life where i could just be myself. as Daddy's slave, i have that. like any Master, he has certain expectations and demands for his slave. things like immediate, unquestioning obedience to his will. no, i do not have the rights and freedoms you may have and enjoy in your own relationship. but i have something far more fulfilling for me personally...the comfort and security of being completely controlled by my Mate, of being powerless, of knowing all my actions and non-actions have a consequence. i don't want an "equal" relationship, where there's no clear Head/Leader, where there's a constant struggle for power, where there are arguments, where if i felt things got too tough, i could just pack my bags and walk out the door. my Master is the Head of his household...if there is a decision to be made, he makes it. and it's my place to accept those decisions..pretty simple really.

He loves me, so he cares what i think and feel. oftentimes he may ask me what is on my mind...and in those moments, i can speak freely (but respectfully, obviously). He is also kind enough to allow me certain priviledges (which can always be taken away at any time), like being able to read and post here on lit. but i do not control the relationship...He is not going to bend his will based on what i feel. and i find a great deal of comfort in that, too. perhaps it's something only those who are in or desire to be in such relationships can understand.

Thank you, OSG, for your answer. You are right, I do have the feeling that you did have a preconceived of how a "real"slave should act and proceeded accordingly. You have said that you had hoped & dreamed that you would be able to live that way, so from that I'm guessing that the lifestyle you lead was what you desired rather than the demands of your Master.

You are fortunate to have found such a person who doesn't mind or even welcomes your abdication from the trials of everyday life and I'm glad that it's working out for you.

As I said before, to each his own, but I was curious given the previous posts from the regular Doms here.

Our way is different, but hey, as long as we're happy.

There's rather a large gulf of difference between obeying your Dominant like your example, and expecting him to choose what color panties you'll be wearing on any given day for the rest of your life.

i am quite thankful for that difference. my Dom is color blind and doesn't see any difference between green and brown etc ect.
