Nope, not a red-head. I have a flatmate who is a red-head though, and she has the same problem with sun.

I love cute little red head's behinds. They start out a nice creamy white (pale), and end up a mean and angry red. In other words, you can tell I've been there!

A redhead who has a tan? I don't believe it. It is a scientific oddity. Most redheads I know have pretty freckles all over.

Are you sure he just doesn't have so many freckles that they cover his body and resemble a tan?

Just curious...what is the texture and tint of his hair? He could be someone with the gene to solve what redheads have hated for years and years. Sun burns and freckles!

He's got pretty fine hair........(haven't seen him in a few years but) more the color orange........as opposed to our sister and my daughter who have gorgeous penny colored red hair....and neither of them ever tanned......

He got the nickname "Torch" cuz it's so orange........

It is a strange sight.........lots of freckles too.....but definitely a tan.......though it's more of a golden color than a deep tan.....

I play the piano. That isn't very masculine. But, with the invent of synths, I was granted a second chance. They are masculine.

But, I see what you mean. What instrument you play has nothing to do with your sexual preference. Even what type of music you prefer to listen to has nothing to do with it. Where you were born has nothing to do with it.

I do think it is a bit hereditory, though. My dad liked to spank cute girls from time to time. It was fun to see him get away with it, and to see the looks on the girls faces, after. They were looks of "wow, that was interesting...but it hurt...but still interesting."

Of course, if I tried that today, I would be thrown in jail. My dad lived in the perfect time for such things. Lucky cuss.

So, tell me. How do you get a sound out of that thing? You see, I was a music major in college (didn't finish the last of it), and I had to learn to play all of the instruments. I did fine with brass, and strings. Reed instruments gave me trouble, because the reeds tickled my lip, when I tried to play.

My major instrument was vibes and marimba, because I hadn't been properly trained for a piano major.

But, when it came down to the flute, I nearly passed out, trying to get a sound from that damn thing. I finally did, but it sounded anything but pretty.

Well, it's not too difficult to get a sound out of it. You just need to know where to put your lips and how hard to blow.
The lightheadedness goes away after lots of practice, then you can get down to serious study of the instrument.
It's the easiest instrument I have ever learned to play.
