If you could give up one of your senses, (sight, sound, touch, smell, taste, and I'm going to throw in speech), and substitute it for an unnatural ability, (read/speak any language, see the future, have three weiners, etc...), what would you exchange for and why?

I guess I have to go first eh? I'd think I would want to give up my sense of sound for an extra pair of arms. Think about it. I could give the ultra-massage, I'd be an awsome fighter, and could make tons of cool "fart-noises" with my armpits!

I would give up sight, to be able to see the future.

Then I would tie a red bandana over my eyes and have a third eye tattooed on my forehead.

Then I would sit indian style on a park bench in Independence Mall, tell the future, and feed the pigeons.

I don't think I could give up any of my senses. I already know if I ever lose my sight I would kill myself. I cannot live without the ability to see. I can't.

And I would not be too happy to give up hearing either. To never hear a child laugh, a bird sing, or my love to tell me he loves me.

As for the rest of them I am sensous so I need to be able to feel and taste.

Oh wait ..... I would not miss smelling too much. I have allergies anyway so my sniffer does not work all that good.

Ok! So I would give up smelling for the ability to turn lead into gold.

Heh .... that would be a very useful ability I think.

( I was going to say find a cure for AIDS but that is not an ability is it ? )

I thought about that too, but if you lose your sense of smell, you would not be able to taste no?

Don't get me wrong, that's still a small price for infinite riches! Hell, what do I know? I lost my hearing for fuck's sake. I'll fall on my ass every four minutes...but think of all the fart noises!!!!
