Buy Tuna Helper, forget to buy tuna.

Buy Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad, forget to buy mayonnaise

Guess what I had for dinner? Mac N' Cheese. Not that there is anything wrong with Mac N' Cheese, it's tantumont to a religous offering.

Add your Stupid Bachelor Tricks here.

Pasta. And. Cheese.

Big ole' bag o pasta. Big Ole block of cheese.

cook pasta. Grate cheese over pasta. Enjoy

that keeps me in dinner for weeks

Bachelor Laundry=

buy clean underwear on the way to work, change in the parking lot before clocking in.

Shouldn't admit this but...

"All of the above" sound like batchelorette "tricks" as well.

That is so true! I can remember not remembering to do laundry and then making a pit stop at WalMart to pick up a new pair of jeans or something to wear to work. Maybe that's how come I have so many clothes.....

What? Why I've never done any of the above. *blush*

*crossing fingers behind back*

a couple of lifetimes ago when i wore a suit and tie to work i set two out to take to the cleaners and then couldn't find them in the morning when i was leaving...looked every damned where...came home from work and went to the fridge for a beer...yep, two suits in cold storage...

also, you cannot fry potatoes and canned okra together...

Cleansing

Washing my body with shampoo, or (more rarely) my hair with hand soap, when one or t'other runs out.

In true bachelor fashion, if I don't show up at my local convenience store on a given night, they file a missing person report.

Curious....

Are these exclusively batchelor/batchelorette "tricks"??

Does being married or mated change the way we eat, drink and dress?

Just curious! :rose:

Well, I for one will be single again very shortly. I know for a fact I will change what I eat, drink, and the way I dress. I hope to change a lot of other things as well!

Being single and looking from the outside at my married friends...my answer is "yes". I do think being mated or married changes the way people do things. I could give examples if you'd like.

Pro's and Con's to both sides though...definately. :D

I buy the mac and cheese...cook the noodles and then remember I'm out of milk...guess it's peanut butter sandwiches for me

Avoid splashing the dishes in the sink when pissing.

Substitute paper towels for napkins,
substitute tissues for paper towels,
substitute toilet paper for tissues,
and substitute dirty socks for...

dust rags.

I feel the same way, PacificBlue. I actually don't have very many married friends, but from observing some of my cousins, I think single/married are actually two different worlds.

(Maybe I should consider NOT being single anymore!) :D
