I watched one of them from the Comicon release. I was hoping for something maybe...not so damned serious?

Oh shit, now I HAVE to say it...

Why so serious?

Great cast though, I have hopes.

They're both online now and are much better quality. It is pretty good casting. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. I'm really interested to see Jared Leto's take on the Joker. Suicide Squad does look interesting but don't have high hopes for Batman v Superman.
They do seem a bit Too serious. Part of the reason why I disliked Man of Steel so much.
What I love about the Marvel movies so much is that they don't take themselves too seriously.

Yeah, I definitely think that DC deserves better. I know they want to set a mood, but there's pacing to be considered. The original Superman movies managed to be funny.

The first two Superman movies were fun but the other two were just really bad.

Yeah, I agree. I think the first one was the best and it went downhill from there. I loved Lex Luthor. Weird but cool think about watching Brandon Routh in Superman Returns was that he was clearly deliberately channeling being Christopher Reeve.

Im waiting for the release of the deadpool trailer. Theres a bootleg one from comicon and its pretty bad quality. The audio is good and it seems Ryan Reynolds is nailing the role perfectly

The original is a classic. Christopher is Reeve the embodiment of Superman to me. I also like Brandon Routh and Kevin Spacey as Luthor. Kate Bosworth was not the best Lois and that script wasn't very good either.

Yes, the original is great. Good amount of campy.

The remakes haven't done much for me.

Smallville made me irritable because if you're Superman...I just do not buy that you should be experiencing that much angst. He's hard to sympathize with, which is why Deadpool and Spidey are more my speed.

The one I saw wasn't CGI. In this one deadpool has a mouth. Its not sewn up yet

That's another one that really disintegrated as a franchise - The Matrix.

Hey, the Wachowskis just put together Sense8 and it's fantastic. Hoping for a second season.
