...and now I want to feed hallucinogens to the alligators to see what happens.

Law of unintended consequences.

And look! A picture to show me what kind of hallucinogen to not feed them!

:eek::D
the glowing script is a work of art

hi reci (+anyone here) :rose:

Hey butters. Sad bout Cilla innit?

hi smeggy :D ok, i'll be good - hello you wonderful cheesy wotsit!

yeah, was a surprise and i said that without a hint of facetiousness. i don't quite understand how they know the fall came before the stroke (science, i suspect,ha) but it doesn't seem unlikely that the stroke caused her to fall :confused:oh well, guess the x-spurts know what's what. either way, it's a big surprise... and if there's an afterlife, she'll be with her much-missed bobby. to be honest, i'm not a big cilla fan after some programme showed her to be very different in private to public - as most no doubt are.

what you up to, fata? :rose:

I was never a big fan either but the sixties history of her is interesting with the Beatles etc. The whole Blind Date, Surprise Surprise thing left me cold though. I read she knew she hadn't long and said Bobby was waiting for her. Aww.

I'm good ta. Phil's just fucked off for the week, bought a new book in Tesco at lunch and pub after work.

Katy perry gonna sue somebody

It's not like I have 22 Warcraft characters or anything...

Been about a year since I've played, so I'm having fun with the new stuff.

I have 587 battle pets and just paid a silly amount for a left shark...so...

YAAAAAAY!

Hi Fata!

We're catching up slowly on Banshee, faster now that we're all caught up on Orange is the New Black.

Love that show

no phil? there just might be a god out there....

i'm hanging on the phone *15 minutes now* waiting to get answers to why my child benefit stopped a year ago when it shouldn't have. bastards owe me a grand!

Hey! Isn't it beautiful?

Now I want a fire pit in the herb garden.
that'd smell delicious

Brill innit? Not seen Orange. Should I give it a bash?

Yeah. Took me a few tries to get into it, but there are some great moments.

Just ignore the main character and get on with it. It was intended to tell the stories of the ladies in the prison, and even the writers and creators say that the main character (Piper) was a Trojan horse. Make a white pretty lead, tell more interesting stories about other people. Watching it just for Laverne Cox, Uzo Aduba and Kate Mulgrew.

Uzo Aduba I would watch playing EVERYBODY in a show. Some day. Hopefully.

Also I can recommend Sense8 highly. Hoping for another season!

Both are great for diversity in writing and representation.

Yeah, the first few days and weeks are going to have to be a lot of face planting into water.

And figuring out how not to kink that central hose and lose your water spout.

Yeah, I really love it.

"Shit I didn't know I wanted until the Internet proved I neeeeded it."

Thing is, it's not junk but it's functional and well-designed.

There's a Japanese word/term for this sort of thing..."zakka."

Zakka (from the Japanese 'kak-ka in de zak-ka'(雑貨)or 'many things') is a fashion and design phenomenon that has spread from Japan throughout Asia. The term refers to everything and anything that improves your home, life and appearance. It is often based on household items from the West that are regarded as kitsch in their countries of origin, but it can also be Japanese goods, mainly from the fifties, sixties, and seventies. In Japan there are also so-called Asian zakka stores; that usually refers to Southeast Asia. The interest in Nordic design or Scandinavian design, both contemporary and past, is also part of this zakka movement. Zakka can also be contemporary handicraft.

I have an affinity for it. Fire was a big part of my life. We heated the house with wood fire my whole life. Fire was my job. I wasn't a pyro because it was a chore, but I'm a champion fire builder.

We just got a pit like this last year because we have huge family reunions that are getting bigger year by year and there isn't enough room for everyone who wants to sit around the campfire...so they bought one of these sans the art.

NOW I WANT ANOTHER ONE.

Hah!

Love these guys.

“EW was photographing Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, and Norman Reedus outside the former prison yard from season 3 and 4 of The Walking Dead. Lincoln and Reedus were behind McBride and Lincoln started laughing and was unable to maintain any actor composure in front of photographer Dan Winters’ camera. Lincoln NEVER breaks character and always maintains his American accent, even on a photo shoot. So this giggle fest was so strange to witness. Lincoln yelled for Reedus to stop and Reedus shouted, ‘Why? No one’s gonna see this!’

After a little investigating, we realized Reedus had been trying to hold Lincoln’s hand in the photos behind McBride’s back. Reedus knows how to make a great picture and also likes to give great imagery to his fans, so I asked the trio if we could shoot them from behind, and then I told Melissa McBride to turn her head towards the camera. They all complied, and then Reedus and Lincoln gave us something a little extra—taking their bromance to a whole other level. I love this picture because it just happened organically. Everyone needs a cheeky Norman Reedus.”
