I dont get it

I enlisted in the Air Force so I would have a choice of how and where I served. Had I waited for selection by the draft board, (and you'll note my draft board was #13 -- not a good sign), I would have probably been a grunt in a rice paddy instead of a well-fed and relatively safe aircraft maintenance technician.

BTW, I actually did get drafted, but I had to send them a letter back saying, "Thank you for the invitation to your war, however, bmy cammander won't let me leave this one." (I was in Vietnam at the time I received the draft notice.)

Samething happened to my husband. They came looking for him at his parents house. His dad told them they might try looking off the coast of Vietnam on one of those big boats...lol

If push comes to shove, there's only one male in the 18-25 year range that I'm kidnapping and shipping to New Zealand with Juspar and I, and that would be Monk. His life is too precious to me, and he doesn't have the heart to kill, even in the face of the enemy. Socrates would be proud of me: familial before civil. I teach a bunch of Quakers

and they have the same attitude.

They are willing for others to die so they can have thier beliefs.

Ok arsehole you can just drop off the face of the earth thank you very much. She is as entitled to her opinion as anyone else on this wretched board, if you chose to disagree with it, so be it. But one of the beliefs you are worried about other people bleeding to protect is the right to free speach. So say your peice, then shut the fuck up about restricting others from expressing thiers.
