Well ok. Never started a thread of any kind before. But here goes.

I have what the most generous of guys would call a "checkered past"? Laugh. And for a while, a short while, I was a "dancer". Ok, read stripper. I made tons a money at a time I needed it. And to this day if I drive by one a those joints my feet ache.

So I know what I got outa it. But guys? or gals? (but mostly I ask the guys since I rarely saw a fem out there) What gives? I'll share the point of view from the stage if you'll share your view from stage side.

What do you want to know?......why we go ? We are assholes and have nothing better to do with our money...........Me myself it has been years since I have gone been to many in our area . I have a cousin that has worked in just about everyone in Pittsburgh...............(Thats alot)......I would go with friends that thought it was cool to go or had never bin to ta titty bar...........I think they are way over rated myself..........I will say when I would go I would come home and really go at it with the wife.....

I kinda look at it as playing the slot machines in Vegas....I put 20 30 40 bucks in one pocket and just veiw the money I'm going to spend as entertainment just a night out with the boys........I can honestly say I never went more than a few times a year and there were many years I didn't go at all. I never had a lap dance that I had to pay for......

I am not trying to be mean but most of the girls....not ALL but most around here are ho's with some sort of habit.....I just about want to give them a buck to get them to move on.
Don't take that the wrong way ....Thats just around here.....and some guys just act like such assholes there...maybe thats way I never went to many.

Owell I think I have put my foot in my mouth enough here.................................................Oh yea and now we can't even have beer next to the runway in this state anymore well I will more than likely not go back anytime soon......I like haveing a beer and looking at the girls....I don't want to go to a "room" have a beer then go back out to the runway and sit without a beer..............

Wow, Pittsburgh is known to have great strip joints, I almost went up there. Sounds lame. Every place is so diff. Listen, I think the whole thing can work. Guys like it and thaz cool. But the dancers are working. A few of the girls where I was, were on drugs. They usually fell off their shoes. Try dancing on nine inch plats while on coke.

Come down here. We (not me anymore) get all the way naked and you can drink beer or stand on your head while we do.

8 to 10 years ago we has some GREAT clubs.....I mean really nice joints....but with the new law about the beer they all suck now and funny you would mention "coke" because thats what they were on.

We have 3 or so "Plywood clubs around here ....now there nothing to write home about ....The one they closed down was awsome....great real expensive runway with a dolly parton bar in it just like a high class club............

When I was in college, two close friends and I started a little bike ride to about ten strip clubs that became quite the cult phenomenon in my midwestern hometown. As we grew older, it grew in size (over 100 riders) and became more difficult to manage but it sure was fun while it lasted. I have many wild and crazy memories from the Tour De Titty. The dancers and club owners loved us. We were fun and spent tons of money. My mother says it ruined my chance at a career in politics. What a shame!

BTW, I have many friends(male and female) who danced and made tons of money. I almost did it myself. In hindsight, I should have, my political career was already in shambles.

...that the "interest" they show is only for the money. The girls would flirt and chat with a tree stump if there was a buck to be made...as it should be that is what they are there for. How about the point of view from a stripper now??? I am currently working in a topless only strip club here in WA. Why are we topless only?? Because of the fugged up state laws that's why. We serve alcohol and because we serve alcohol <and because WA doesn't really want to have any strip clubs> we have to keep our t-backs or g-strings on. I believe that only 5 out of the currently 20 girls we have dancing there are on drugs, I am definitely not one of them. Yes it upsets me. I always see the girls who do the drugs getting all the dances and all the guys, while I am stuck being who I am, and not making the money I need to make. It's not that I am not working it. Cause I am. But I guess my problem is that because I don't do drugs, the guys don't think I'm worth it. Heck, I am definitely more worth it cause I know exactly what I am doing, and I totally enjoy doing it. While doing a VIP <we can't do laps because of the alcohol and four foot rule> dance, I occasionally show a little more than I'm supposed to, I tease all the time, I flirt, I talk, and best of all i am genuine. So what's up???? Guys, why do you seem to prefer the girls who are doing the drugs???? It makes no sense. Hell, I have no problem letting the girls do what they want to me, I encourage it. And another reason I quit (mostly the feet thing) was that I was hooked on coke for awhile, and being around those broads didn't make me wanna use again, it just almost made me ill to think that I used to look like that. And of course I'd try to "talk" to them and get em to find help and all. Being a mother hen in a stripper's dressing room is not a happenin thing. Like they could listen anyway. I should know.

I don't go very often, but when I do it's just to admire the beautiful women. Go figure, I just think that removes the stress of my work, the beer helps but I can loose myself in a fantsy of being admired by a foxy babe (I have no pretense about that being permanent). I prefer to go when I have money to blow and just give it all to the ones who have the smile to go with their eyes. I've had lap dances but they seem too atheletic or the girls act bored. I can see why, nowdays they have a lot of pressure from the clubs to rack up the numbers and that has got to wear you down over time. It depends on the club.There are two clubs within 15 miles of my house,a topless and fully nude.The topless serves alchohol,you can get a table dance for ten dollars.The nude club,on the otherhand doesn't serve adult beverages and it is 30 dollars for a dance.

Why would Kelli's question make you question her age? I'm 23, safely over the age requirement, and I could say the same. I've never been to a strip club and never had the desire to. So I really don't know anything about them either. I don't think it's all that uncommon. So what makes you think she's underage?
