My girlfriend has decided that it is now time to "reverse-roles", and is intent on using a strap-on - on me. Herein lies the question - what product would be the best for the first time? We have looked at the "Feeldoe", the "Share", and the standard strap-ons (like the Vac U Lock system). We want something that will give us both a "realistic" experience - any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated!!

Nevermind HAHA I read it wrong the first time... so my comment was null and void now...

Well I think maybe you should just go with what you would be most comfortable with... what size shape texture and all of that if you would be more comfrotable with it being so realistic or not.. she is going to be getting off on it mentally of what she is doing not so much about what she is doing it with looks or feels like to you

The feeldoe and share ones are great because they're silicone, which can be sanitized in the dishwasher or via boiling.

HOWEVER, I've heard a fair number of women have trouble keeping them in and getting the hang of using them, so they might not be idea for newbies. Also, the advantage of the Vac-u-loc and other harness systems is that you can easily change the dildo; that's not the case with harnessless dildos - if you want something different, you have to buy a whole new one or a harness anyway.

I bought the Ultra Harness Pro kit on eBay for $35. It's Vac-u-loc and came with a very nice, highly adjustable leather harness (so it'll fit thin to voluptuous ladies, which is kind of rare), TWO vinyl plugs (they can go on the harness for the wearer, but we usually use them separately) and a good-sized dildo. The dildo is rubber, so we always use a condom over it (plus, that makes for quick cleanup). There's a pouch for a bullet vibe, but we haven't gotten around to getting one yet. The other thing I really like is different attachments/dildos are fairly inexpensive (around $15 on average) on some sites, so we could easily try new ones without going broke). And it's nice to not have to mess with different sized rings or worry about dildos fitting the harness, since they just snap right on to the Vac-u-loc adapter thingie.

Hubby thought the dildo that came with it was a little big at first, but it turned out he was just nervous and got used to it quickly after some more warm-up.

Honestly, I don't think any dildo/strap-on is going to give you a realistic experience. That's where the mental aspect comes in. You both should enjoy the strap-on for what it is, and enhance that with fantasy, talk, power exchange, roleplay or whatever else floats your boats. Physically, though, an inanimate object is never going to be just like "the real thing," even though it can produce some of the same sensations. The realism for me is the fact that I'm fucking my partner, have the power to really hurt and pleasure him, be gentle or forceful, and we're both enjoying it physically and mentally.

There were some ideas posted at the yahoo feeldoe group about how to deal with the "hard to hold" problem. Such a shame that women get so wet with these toys. Shame on them for enjoying their part. There were some simple answers like just wearing a pair a tight jockeys... the hole is already in the right spot. Quite a few women say that after time they learn to handle these toys without the extra help. Sort of like riding without training wheels.

As for size... etc... there are some nice silicon sheaths out there that can adjust the size of your cock without having to buy a whole new one, perhaps not even having to remove it to "size up"...

(look around there are some other older strap-on threads)

I'm never having dinner at your house!

Great minds....

And some of my friends on one of my other forums blanched when I told them about a friend of mine whose daughter periodically washed all her flipflops in the dishwasher...

Your dishwashers must not use hot water, antibacterial soap and heat to sanitize, like mine does. It's not like the toys go in particularly dirty, folks (they get washed in the sink first); we just prefer to ensure they're free of nasty bacteria before they go back in our bodies, and popping them in the dishwasher is a lot easier than boiling them.

Did you tell your friends they should stop eating at restaurants and staying in hotel rooms and touching surfaces in public before they freak out about someone putting shoes in the dishwasher? Floors and streets are often cleaner than the other surfaces we touch all the time. Regardless, most bacteria is good for us in one way or another; there's a reason why the incidence of allergies, asthma and other immune diseases has increased dramatically, right alongside our culture's increased use of antibacterial products.

Absolutely true and documented through extensive research. The bacteria that survive antibacterial soaps are more lethal and nowhere near as symbiotic as what we're trying to wash away/kill.

DUBBLEDUM on us.

* sorry* no hijack intended*

Not everything is meant to be taken seriously you know.

My ex was a clean freak who worked in the hotel business. The first thing she would do is take the cover off the bed and put it in the closet. They almost never get cleaned.

erika, is the ultra harness pro by doc johnson or another manufacturer? i'm doing a little research. :>

Yes, that's right. I think they have flimsier models of it now, but I'd stick with the leather one. Mine, at least, is really well made.

If you see this within the next hour and a half, eBay has it for $50 including shipping (which is close to what I paid in the end). Item 290252874990 in the Mature Audiences section. :D

I've never used it on a guy, but I have this one and like it a lot.

Your link scared the crap out of me!!

Need a bit more wiggle room? Choose this leather strap to extend the hip size of our popular Terra Firma harnesses to 54". This kit includes both harness and extra long strap. Please refer to our return policy for this product.

Yikes! 54 inches!! But then, I realized it was a different dimension they were talking about.

erika: ah, thank you. i can find the non-pro version on amazon--for some reason that still tickles me. :>

it doesn't seem to indicate whether it's suitable for plus sizes, though. hm.

The one I linked to DOES fit up to a 46 or 48" waist/hip, IIRC (the straps sit right above my hip bones, and then slope down in front, so the pad covers my mons). It comes with an extra strap that fits right on to make it larger. I've got some serious curves, and still have plenty of room to spare. Because of where it sits, I'm thinking I'll be able to use it well into a pregnancy, even. And, obviously, I can just take that extra strap off if I lose a bunch of weight. In fact, the flexible sizing was one of the main reasons I went with this one - a lot of them are "one size fits thin" and I think this was the only plus-size adjustable one I found that didn't come with an outrageous pricetag.

I went on this site and they had a nice selection of strap-ons and anal beads. The prices were very reasonable and shipping was quick. Check them out, hope it helps...http://www.eroticallysexy.com

Strapons

We have a couple, one is a 'Super Penetrix with Vaginal Plug' like the one showed in http://www.eroticallysexy.com.
Mostly used with girlfriends but occassionally with Hubby. depending on the mood we in at the time.
We also a swing and I've used it on hubby when he's ben in the swing, Love to see his face as I'm using it on him. He has to be prepared for it and we use lots of Lube, We have some other toys too.

OK - we went with the standard strap-on for starters, and it was great! Now she wants to experience a little more intimacy, without the cumbersome straps and harness. That said, we are down to the Feeldoe or the Share. She is leaning more towards the Share because it LOOKS like it would stay in her easier. Any input?

I often wonder about that too . . .

Dishwashers are fairly hygenic as long as you don't use the low temperature wash. Not sure about putting flip-flops in mine though.

Well, I have a Feeldoe. I'd say for either one, though, if it's going in her pussy, you don't want to get too aggressive. Otherwise, you're going to end up pulling it out of her.

Strap on sex is fantastic. We use Bend Over Beginner Kit. It has a harness and two interchangeable silicone dildos. It also has a vibrator in the harness for stimulating her clitoris while she fucks me and gives me a HJ. We cum at the same time.
We also ahve a Feeldoe. It is great for me, but DW says rhe bulb end is too large for her pussy.

All flip flops & crocs around my house get put in the laundry during the bleach load.
Only the dinner plates that the dogs licked clean get put in the dishwasher.

Who's hungry? Anyone wanna come over for dinner? Hahahaha
