story submission time frame

I submitted a story about 3 weeks ago and havent seen it posted yet .... does anyone know what the average time frame is for literotica to process and post a story? ....thanks ... in advance

Hi Midnight Jam,

It's usually just a few days, but I know there has been a backlog recently (with a competition and so on just finished).

Have you checked your member page? Under submissions? There might be some more info there.

Like Lou says, but how did you submit? If you uploaded a file it can take longer than if you cut-and-paste into the submission box on your member's page.

Uploaded files have to be formatted by the site. Text in the box goes right through after the editor views and approves it. Weird printer codes in the box can cause delay, too.

There's always 'more to it than that' in every department of life. If there really is a problem most any of us can help with it, likely enough.
