Can someone help me with posting stories? I have tried all the options in the help section, with no luck. I currently have two that I have emailed to the address listed, it has been over a week with no activity, no feedback, nothing. I posted a couple years ago under a different user name with no trouble, and obviously others aren't having trouble so it must be something i am doing wrong. Please help, I have lots to share.

I have not even heard of the possibility of email submission. Not discounting it, but here’s what I do. YMMV.

I write in Word, copy it. I sign in to Lit, go to my author’s page and hit New Story at the top. Paste and fill in the other boxes as prompted.

I've never submitted a story by email. Seems that I recall reading some chat here on the Forum that it is the slow boat to publication — if not dead all together (can't recall the details).

Try logging on here—> https://www.literotica.com/members/index.php?forward=/stories/members/main.php

This takes you directly into your User Control Panel. At the very top of the page in blue font, select New Story. That will open a new screen with options for New Story, New Poem, New Art Work. After selecting New Story, you'll see the many items you need to fill in. I always have just copy/pasted the story text in here. Take care filling in the rest of the required info — At the bottom right hand of the page you'll see View Draft. This opens your story in the format it will appear when published. You can review the layout, make any last minute changes, then select Submit Story.

Should work, good luck!

I'm not sure the email submission option is used nowadays except possibly for audio files, but even then, there has to be a submission from your Control Panel.

Go to your Activity Page (when you're logged in):

https://www.literotica.com/my/#/activity/all

and right up the top, click on the New Story icon. Proceed from there.

Thanks all, I will try these again. Tried them last fall, maybe they'll work this time. I have two in the "draft" stage since March 19.

If they're in the "Draft" stage then you haven't submitted to Laurel yet. You must submit. It's a rule.

Bring up your entry and check everything, then preview the story (button at the bottom of the first page). After you've previewed the story you'll find a Submit button at the bottom of the page. Once you've pressed the magic button your story will move from "Draft" to "Pending."

Previewing the story is a necessary step.

A keen eye!
