Story stuck as "pending" for three weeks.

I submitted an "illustrated" story three weeks ago and it is still showing as pending. I doubt the illustrations are against site rules as the subject (me) is not exposing any naughty bits.

I know that illustrated stories take up to a week to be posted, but after two weeks I tried contacting Lauren directly, no response, then tried the the Lit. help email, no response.

Can anyone suggest how I can find out what the delay is ?

Three weeks does seem a bit long. The best I can suggest is that you PM Laurel (emails have a reputation of never being answered) and ask.

Keep in mind, Illustrated stories get posted once in a while. Usually about once a month, with a couple extra posted in the days after.

Same with story edits. They take a while.

My experience is that anything "illustrated" takes ages. A month, easily...

Can confirm, I don't even have a story, just an illustration and has been pending for some time now and have no idea when or even if will be published.
