Story scoring adjustments?

Anyone else experiencing wild scoring adjustments this week? I had a recent story make a .41 jump the other day combined with a reduction of about 50 votes. It was very reminiscent of those wild swings several weeks ago when the Literotica server changes were happening. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, just curious what you’ve experienced.

There do seem to have been a number of sweeps, which might account for what you've seen. I don't think it's the same thing as that chaos six weeks ago; that seems to have been due to less-than-optimal changes in site programmes .

I track my story data regularly and haven't seen anything unusual this week. Ratings have been very stable. I just published a new story and its score moved around somewhat the first day, but it too has stabilized on the third day.

According to my figures, the big-time score bombing ended in late March, and since then my story score average has seen a gradual, small, but perceptible decline, although it looks like the average may have bottomed out. I lost a number of red Hs and have not gotten them back. I'm not worried about it, but it's interesting.

Thanks to both of you. Simon D, I too keep a very close eye on my story scores and would concur with your summary of how your scores across the board fared since the major Literotica site upgrades.

Even I can get irritated sometimes.

My latest story was doing fairly well at about 4.75 with 60 votes until the US trolls woke up and bashed it down well below an H.

I haven't noticed any sweeps but anon has been ensuring that most of my recent stories get bashed every time they get near an H.

I haven't seen much in the way of systematic changes. I've had a vote removed here and there, but not with much rhyme or reason.

I expected or hoped for a sweep last week for the April monthly contest, but I haven't seen evidence for it.

Haven't noticed in wild swings in scoring on any of my more recent entries, no.

Just checked - no real change in the last month, but in the April kerfuffle my two top stories lost score (one a few votes and -0.05, but that kicked it out of the HoF, my only story to have enough votes to be there), and my contest-placing story lost 0.55, and has only gained back about 0.05 despite doubling in votes.

The odd thing was how many of my less-good and experimental stories have risen in score. I even had a 750 Word Project piece with a red H for a couple days.
