Story roadblocks are little problems that get in the way of the story that prevent it from coming together.
I currently have a story I am working on that is mostly finished, but it just needs a good plot contivance. I do try to make my stories unique and different from most of the stuff out there, whether I succeed or not is a different question.
My current roadblock involves how to get a 30 year old pregnant woman (7-8 months) into a fraternity party and make it seem (somewhat) realistic. I have a few scenarios in draft form but nothing that, to me, seems to logically flow. I want to avoid the more usual cliches that one finds in these types of stories, but trying to find a different and believable angle is proving to be a challenge.
I'm sure others deal with this and am curious to see if anyone (responds?) has encountered this and how they dealt with it.
