Story needs a jump

I'm working on a Valentine's Day story, a sequel to my Christmas 2009 story Unexpected Gifts. I started it and had clear ideas, had to drop it and now am a bit lost. Anyone interested in reading what I have and maybe making some suggestions?

It's a romance (of course it is -- it's me ) with some fantasy aspects. Probably about 4-5k words so far.
