Story Lost!

Been awhile since I posted, but soon I'll be able to interact here more often, and add some threads to those author’s stories that I owe threads to.

Anyway, I seem to have lost my story entitled "Schoolgirl Lost". It's not a great tragedy in the grand scheme of things, but it was my first story, and I'd prefer that I still had it. I'm sure it's not possible to get it back, as calling on help from the administrators has as much hope of work as calling on the powers of Zeus!

And no, I did not save it as a document. If you have any ideas, please post here. It's possible that the delete key was hit by my pet wombat (cat actually) when I was looking at my list of stories. Thanks for letting me vent.

How?

I don't see how you could delete a story. I have a couple I would like to get rid of, they are just poor, and see no way to do so.

Hitting the delete key does not do anything as near as I can tell, except allow you to delete a story introduction that was denied. Did it get lost when things converted to Chyoo2, or after that?

Another one of Imhotep's stories seems to have disappeared (and one that I contributed a thread to Dammit!)

Humiliated seems to have disappeared without trace. My thread was approved a couple of weeks back and now it and the whole of the rest of the story seems to have buggered off. What gives?

This is very strange indeed. AFAIK, the only people that have the power to delete stories are the admins... And AFAIK, the only reason why they would delete a story is if the very first thread would contain forbidden material...

I really don't know what to say...

I have lost "Isle of Lesbos" which frankly I didn't really like anyway, and "Sappho's Amulet" which I was very fond of. I received no warnings of inappropriate material, nor do I see how they could have had anything objectionable because I never grant auto-approval.

Something rotten is going on around here, and the silent CHYOO webmaster have a lot to answer for.

The lost stories returned not too long ago which is why you are able to follow the links to them. No sign of an xplantion why though
