Story Lookup by Author?

Is it possible to look up all stories by a particular Lit author? For example, if I wanted to see what Etoile or Pink Orchid have written, is there a way to look that up?

I go to "Search the Site" and click on "Search Members." I type in the name...voila!!

You can also click on the "profile" tab near the bottom left hand corner of someone's post. That will take you to a, well, profile that includes a hot linked list of all their stories and/or poems.

'fraid not. After posting that, I double-checked instead of vice versa. Once again I've demonstrated that I seldom, if ever, know what I'm talking about. The profile doesn't include a list of stories.

HOWEVER, never having learned when to shut up, I'll try again. There is (I just checked) another way to find writers. On the index page, under "Erotic Stories" there is a heading called, "Author's Index." Try it. You may like it.

Story Search is much the best. Enter the author's name in the Author box and you go direct to their list of stories.

Search Members takes one click longer. Entering your desired author's name in the Username box takes you to a list of all users called that name - i.e. a list of one. Now click on that and you get their profile and a list of all their stories.

Author Index is useless when you know the author's name. You get a list beginning at a random letter from A-Z. If you're looking for Etoile you then have to click E, which takes you to the point where the D's end and the E's begin. You then have to click forward through each page of E's, or guess how many pages forward to skip. Not recommended unless you can't remember their exact name.

Member List... oh lord, I've never clicked on that. That seems to be the same as Author Index but including every single one of the 190 000 members, stories to their name or not. Avoid.

The navigation is a crock of poo here, sorry Laurel, but it is.

Some authors do include a link to their stories in their profile so you weren't really wrong.

Being an old married guy, I've got plenty of experience being wrong. So I takes my solace where I can find it.

As for the name, I could claim it was the result of spending many hours under the influence in New Orleans and the bayou country of south Louisiana. Yeah, come to think of it, I could. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. And if the fur fits, cher, wear it proudly.
