Story Idea

Lime, that's interesting but too complicated for me to think about an erotic use for it.

Do you know why the serum solution is returned, its use to one?

Blood pressure immediately comes to mind, but I don't actually have any basis for this assumption. IIRC, they can take more red blood cells that way than they can taking whole blood.

That's why I love you, Min. You don't think twice about saying what you don't know. Muwah! P.

:D Terrible habit, ain't it?

Thanks, P, made me grin ear to ear. :D

Lime - who's not a doctor, but has been know to play it.
Thanks, Lime, makes sense. BTW, have you ever been charged with malpractice when playing Dr. Lime?

Perdita ;)

Oh sure! It makes sense when he says it. Harrumph.

No, but when I was younger, I was accused of practicing prematurely.
I would have sued. P. :p

p.s. Min, it's his thread, I was being polite.

Min,

Don't get upset. I've got an opening on Tuesday at 10, should I confirm your appointment?

Dr. Lime - no longer practicing

I'll be there with bells on. ;)

At an uneducated guess I'd have to agree that it's four pints for a pint or whatever. Blood is routinely centrifuged later for the cells alone and the seratonin(?) as a byproduct.

The cells must be where all the money is at.

Also guessing but if they're replacing the volume then the donor is less likely to suffer any dizziness or such.

As to how you control someone's mind by extracting red cells (and abviously adding some sort of ingredient, hypnovel maybe or sodium pentathol or even some nanobots made of buckyballs/tubes to take root in the axions and neurons of your sympathetic memory thus inducing a controllable 'Total Recall' scenario by inhibiting gaba h production*) I wouldn't know where or even why to begin.

Gauche

Edited to add *and thereby subverting electrical signals to preferred areas.

Aye aye aye! Now that is a real turn on.

Perdita

Seratonin is a chemical in the brain. Are you meaning plasma?

I've got brains on the brain today:rolleyes:

I obviously meant serum. Doh.

Serum was the word I was searching the brain for, too. I couldn't come up with it so that's why I suggested plasma.

When people say plasma that just makes me think of atomic reactions in the sun with all the attendant x and gamma rays plus the unbound atoms of hydrogen, helium and all that. And obviously the bending of extra solar light, the wavicles and the gravity stuff bending time along with the light. [Can you tell I'm making this up?] Plasma? It makes my blood boil.

Stop, por favor. You are making my blood boil, even if you are making it up.

now Perdu ;)

Do you ever give your ownself a headache?

Geeze Gauche!

You make me think way too much. The procedure is called centrisus I think (centreesus) and typically takes longer but the restriction for doing it is longer (two months as opposed to one month for giving blood if my memory is correct. As far as nonbots and axions and plasma technobabble... you are the master sir Gauche! Even if you're making it all up... it just sounds good when you say it...

Just my one and a half centimes...

O! I love that word, centime. Amongst some of the authors here, language and its play and nuances is the biggest arousal for me.

Then there's intime ;) .
