story edit or removal

I have tried to edit a story to protect identities but never received a response after a number of weeks. I then tried to delete it with the same results. I must be doing something wrong.??

Edits take a long time, as do story deletions. Doing both on the same story wasn't the best idea, as it would confuse the process. What's the current status on the story?
