Story approved but... can someone explain?

I had a story that was approved 'early' this morning...

It doesn't show up on the new list, which has happened before so no biggie.

BUT it doesn't show up in my Author Index, which I have not seen previously.

Is this normal?

I have no explanation, apart from sayin that it "might" be a glitch in the system? Or maybe, even though your story is approved they (Lit's God) still haven't had time to upload it to the server yet?

Maybe somebody else has the "real" explanation but that's the only one I can come up with.

It might not be normal, but I think you should give it a day or two before you hit the panic button. Things just happen sometimes, but the site usually work itself out.

I can't explain it to you, but I can tell you that I'm having the same problems. In fact, my new submissions from the last two days have now completely disappeared, even though they had shown up in my profile.
I've contacted Laurel, because I've had nothing but problems the last couple weeks.

Okay... I'll wait to see what happens before I go whining to mommy.

It just delays the 'uploading' of my next story to the applause of those thousands (okay, two) adoring fans.

My head is not big enough for me to consider myself part of the "elite" of Lit Snoop. That's why I prefer to keep "they" instead of "we".

Not thousands... but two, and not two thousand, just two... and one of them is my girlfriend so really only one.

When my last sub showed as accepted I noticed I had several ratings while the number of views was zero. I figured it must take time for all the elements to "settle".
