The husband talks the neighbors kid to keep an eye on her until he gets back from the pharmacy with her prescription.
In reality he sneaks into the backyard to see what the kid does to his wife.

The husband shows the kid to the bedroom where the wife is. She is lying on the bed. The husband tells the kid that he gave her something to sleep and that she won't wake up. He tells the kid he is going to the pharmacy to pickup her prescription. The guy leaves parks his car down the block and watches what the kid does.
