story about casino addiction

wanna share with my my idea to a short story
its basicly allready written, but i love to hear your opinion..
based on a story i heard long ago
its about a woman who is married+2. she is in her 30's.
anyway, she is addicted to spam removed

I've actually got a story started that sort of fits the header.

The idea is: A guy is winnig big bucks at a casino - and he is horrified at the fact. He is trying to piss it away quickly at a roulette table but he keeps winning. Eventually he quits and needs a way to dump all the cash, so he calls an escort and throws something like $10,000 at her and tells her to earn it.

I just can't figure a clever enough hook for why he has to ditch the money. Pressure form the wife doesn't make any sense if he is going to fuck an escort. Under investigation for tax fraud? I don't know - nothing comes to mind. I suppose I can remove the "money is bad" aspect and have him just so happy to have a wad of cash that he decides to celebrate.

That bit ain't. maybe he needs to get rid of the cash coz he's just been divorced and he knows his BWFH will get it all!

It's not that bad. Make the guy a priest who very occasionally gambles and then starts winning. Then he realises what he has done (can't give dirty money to the church to get rid of it) so he sinned once (the money) and figures he's lost anyway so tries something else he's never had.
