I set it up so there are many single people for the main character to meet, including other passengers, the staff and the woman who is supposed to be his ideal match.

There are many locations that could be explored such as different cabins, a swimming pool, sauna and bar.

I hoped this would give enough opportunities for writers to explore.

Perhaps you should lead by example?

It could help to develop some alternative paths for a couple of threads, to give potential writers a feel for the story and some potential characters and themes to develop (rather than simply a description of the setting). I like to see enough interaction among characters to get a sense of jumping off points for plot lines.

Right now there's only a single path to the story.

I like the collaborative aspect of Chyoo rather than writing several threads in a row. I like to write a thread and see how other people develop the idea. It often leads the story into interesting new directions that I hadn't thought of.
