This story is set in England, 1805, at a manor estate called "Stormswept Heights". It is the inheritance of the Baron, Sir Edward Martyn, whose only daughter Anne is refusing to marry and provide him with an heir to the barony.

Characters:

The Baron, Sir Edward Martyn- New Husband to Lady Martyn, and father of Anne Martyn. His daughter reminds him of his first wife, who he loved well.

The Lady Martyn- A widow, who has recently married the Baron, to escape a life of poverty. She does not love him. Played by ARaynes

Annabelle (Anne) Martyn- the wild only daughter of the Baron, quite unruly and unladylike. She is refusing to marry. Played by MissVictoria

The Lady Martyn red hair, known back then that red hair meant that the birth was a horrid one. It was believed that a person with red hair killed their mother at childbirth, so she was not well looked at.

Her husband had died, leaving her family in a huge debt. Had she not been asked by the Baron for her hand in marriage her and her children would surely have perished, due to their extravagances.

She is tall in height, at 5'6" and weights a tad bit heavier than she should, but she still looks like a grand woman. Her eyes, pools of jade, are cold unless she warms up to you. Then you could see miles of Irish lands in them.

The only requirement I have with this thread, I guess, is that you take some time in your posts and tell them in the fashion of a story! Please only committ to this if you are serious in developing a character for the story... if at some point you decide to leave, we will pass the character on.

You will have that from me, MissV... but I chose a maid so that I can take an active or quiet time in the story, currently I'm trying to work out her background to make her fit in... then I'll post.
