Storm Clodagh To Hit North Engand

Half-way down the country, we've had some serious winds, rain, snow, freezing cold and just about everything else except sunshine.

We had about two minutes of sunshine as well! :D

What a blustery day. I just got in from doing some shopping - on my bike. It was quite bracing cycing along in the 50 mph gales! I feel very cosy now snugged up in my little place with the oak trees tossing outside. Although later I shall have to go and walk Piglet home as she doesn't like coming back in the dark alone. (It's a very well populated walk with plenty of concerned citizens going by all the time but I always say she should listen to herself if she feels worried, so I trek out to walk her home if she calls me.)

There is a squirrel who has taken to sitting on the fence (ho ho) during storms, by a fencepost. Perhaps it seems safer than the trees? The cats watch him avidly through the window. :)
