just a couple of views from what i have found by reading the stories and what i have deduced...i am new and can't wait for the new stories..i started by browsing but now am hooked..any way my scorecard reads like this.
a.lose the cliffhanger and tbc endings in stories that have no sex content in it at all...we all know what is going to happen and do not need to read 3 or 4 pages of build up and then told to stay tuned...the days or weeks it may take for the followup or climax is lost and so is my interest...

b. the terms are repeated over and over when describing the body parts and acts...and does everyone on the planet have a 8' cock that can be blown to orgasm,cum in pussy,and have enough left to ass fuck in the first 20 min encounter...

c.does everyone always do everything on the first encounter.add some spice or intrigue and don't feel the need to tell the entire tryst and sex in one encounter...the best part of sex was the pursuit and anxiety of building up to that climatic moment that usually lasts under 5 mins the first time

You haven't really told us (as writers) anything we didn't already know, what you HAVE done is express your own likes and dislikes.

Well that's one of the great things about Literotica, we cater for almost all tastes, and then some.

There are loads of stories without cliffhangers or tbc, a great many stories in the celebrity archive. Many of the authors here always, but always try to vary their descriptions (one of the most difficult things to avoid is calling a cock a cock).

Most of the stories are fantasies so how many times a guy/girl can cum is up to the author. Some authors (myself included) insist on a certain amount of realism, some take the pure fantasy route.

And if it's the build up and anticipation that draws you in, well, there's your 3 page leader with no sex.

We have it all, you just have to look.

I've really got to take exception to this susurrus, as I do with so many things.

I'm not including paedeophilia here at all which is a totally different subject.

In many cases of incest the only reason that it is a devastating occurence, the single reason that it is 'sinful', 'awful' or indeed 'devastating' is that someone else tells the "victim" that this is so.

I don't deny that many people 'suffer' incestual relationships but from the 'true stories' and simple letters I've read purporting to be true then there are as many willing 'victims' as there are unwilling.

That's a big brush you're using to tar everyone with.

Someone else on this board, somewhere back in the grey, dim past, observed that one thing that makes incest such a popular topic is it having built-in conflict. The act of breaking or getting away with breaking that "taboo" being, of course, the conflict.

For what it's worth (which is damn little) I've always had a hunch the folks who've been traumatized and victimized by incest are, by and large, for the most part, maybe even predominately (I'm trying to cover my assets here, in case you didn't notice) the ones who have been coereced into the act when they were children. Family members "of age" mutually consenting to getting it on is one thing-an older relative forcing a child into sex is, IMHO, very different.

Okay, I'm confused. First, Humpypants, you state you don't want a long lead in, then you state you don't want all the action to occur at once, that it should be spread out. Which is it? I know I've written stories that were 3 Lit pages long. (about 13 typed pages) Most readers stated it was too long, but hey, that's the way I write.

Now, Gauche, I can hear what you are saying. And I've met a couple of people who incestuous relationships in which both parties were consenting. Typically brother/sister and involving a sort of exploration. I work in a field that deals with children who are abused. And there is nothing whatsoever "consenting" about a 9 year old girl being sexually abused by her stepfather. She isn't told she is a "victim" - she's simply told that if she says anything she'll get the crap beat out of her. And yes, usually mom knows and turns a blind eye. When she gets pregnant at 10 years of age, and comes to the hospital to give (because she doesn't understand she is pregnant), then we get involved. These girls are indeed traumatized. And very typically do not continue on to healthy relationships without intense counseling. And this is far more common than most people want to believe. Fathers, brothers, uncles, stepfathers all have taken advantage of girls in their families. A 6 year old does not and cannot give consent. She typically has no clue as to what is happening to her, except that there is pain, shame, and the feeling that something is "wrong".

Does incest occur between teens? Yes, it does. And in that age range (usually 16-17), the teen is a willing participant. But most people who prey on children are looking for easy targets. Some one they can control and who won't ever say "no". You discount the ordeal that girls go through who are subject to this type of treatment when you state they are only victims when some one tells them they are and that it isn't all that common.
