Stories with or without photos?

I recently wrote a short story and added photos to enhance the visual aspect.
I asked for feedback and I didn't get much response, more neutral. What is your thoughts on it? Like photo that coincides with the story or does it not matter?
One of my threads, if you want to read it, Victoria's Secret's mystery, applies to my question.
I have another erotic story written (not posted yet) and would like to add photos to match up to it. (I haven't had a chance to take pics yet....busy mom here.) lol

who doesn't love pics, but they also put sideboards on the reader's interpretation of the story or srp.

I agree with you. Its a shame you don't get pics with stories . Certainly get you more involved and not to mention horny.
