Stones - Lady Jane

The White album has some shit in it that is nearly inexcusable but we let it slide. Why don't the Stone get the same?
Don't know as any band that's been around more than a few years hasn't given us some shit. Even Queen and Barry Manilow have had less than perfect songs.

Hahahaha... . it's not that bad, i know. The Beatles ('Oh! Darling" and "Maxwell's Silver Hammer".. (in a single album) to name a few).. Barry Manilow?! Oh, dear..

I know, it's hard to believe that Manilow has had songs that aren't awesome but it's true. Way fewer than anyone else though.

Blasphemy. Everything Freddie Mercury ever touched turned to gold. If you can pull off a moustache, pepto-pink lipstick, and cow-inspired body paint all in the same video, you're officially untouchable.

Thats fine.. I didn't expect anyone to fight Manilow's corner though. I didn't expect a mention of the Manilow.

Whats his worst song?? Bring him down. Bring that Manilow down.

I'd like to see some analytical discussion.

I Write the Songs is pretty bad regardless of popularity.
Everybody's Leaving is kinda awful.

It warms my heart to see that you're a woman of science.

More than once on Lit I have stated that I think Mercury had the best voice in all of rock and roll and that Queen was always one of my favorite bands.

You kind of have to admire alts that are trotted out years later. I can only imagine spreadsheets including notes section are involved

i like it. aftermath is the shit and it works there. also, harpsichords are neat.

and it helped give us borrowed tune, so that's something.

everyone should. it's probably the best album they did with brain jones.

imo, of course.

well, maybe some days i like between the buttons better but fuck it. it's all subjective.
