Stone circle found - 9K years older than Stonehenge

BTW - Another of my interns - An Iraqi Shia, claims that

the stones were originally in northern Iraq but the Kurds took them and buried them. I've had to refocus the team's efforts on the task at hand (that which Mother Boeing pays us for); and the necessity of meeting the schedule. I'll interview both of them and get their views on these antiquities after we get the report and the presentation finished......Anon
 
Well, there have been several documentaries about the site here on German television. I found one which shows that the stone carvings weren't the only artwork they left - there were sculptures also. If the German commentary is putting you off too much, advance to 2:43.
