Stolen Stories?

I did a search for Literotica sweetnpetite (just sweetnpetite turns up to many hits that aren't me) and I was very suprised to find those words on hits to sites that have nothing to do with lit. IN fact, they are pay sites and wierd one's too.

The link won't take me to a page that shows my member name, for some reason. What is going on?

I've seen this sort of thing before as well, sometimes with the oddest sites. It usually comes up as you show it - hunks of text including my name mixed in with things that are not related to me in any way. I'm not sure how it works, but it seems to be some sort of ploy to draw in traffic. I've usually seen it used by porn sites, but once found a real estate agent using it. So far as I have been able to work out, the sites seem to either trawl the Internet and throw random strings of text into their sites in an attempt to get their site to pop up on nearly anything searched, or they've worked out something more sophisticated that somehow finds and inserts whatever you're looking for. It's very annoying, I agree; I hate when my name comes up in connection with a site whose nature I strongly oppose.

well, it seems likely enough, and I'm not going to join the stupid pay site to find out if they really have my story.

I did find one page that had a link to one of my lit stories. That was kind of interesting. (can't find the page now) will post if I do.

Some of the pay sites have encoding that includes randomly generated words surrounding the text if you hit on the site and are not a subscriber.

The actual web page appears in full only if you enter through the members' portal and are verified.

So they may have your stories but they have hidden them from view.

Don't try entering some of these sites without a very effective firewall.

The last time I googled 'oggbashan' I found over 1,000 hits. Following some of them up infected my harddrive. I had to reformat.

Some of the erotic sites actually have innocuous sounding domain names such as realtors and accountants. You have to get past the initial portals unscathed before you can trace your work.

What puzzles me is why some of my stories have been stolen for specific sites. What is the attraction of one of my stories to someone who has paid to enter 'Anal Fisting Japanese Teens'?

been a while since I googled my name and I got the random inclusion thing too but one of the first hits was this one: Incest rreality dot net. It had most of one of my stories on the page and randomly clicking one of the list further down gave me a story by konzen15 which is also posted at Lit.

I've PMed Laurel with the site so it may be worth looking at in case yours are there too. I couldn't find any way to contact the webmaster though.
