Write for other people
I think the key to enjoying Chyoo is writing for a lot of different stories. I often find that the intial thread on a story will not appeal to me that much, but if I give it some thought I can come up with a story line that is fun and extends the story.
I think too many people focus on only their own stories and then wonder why no one adds to it. Write for other people and you will never be bored as the possibilities are endless. Some of the largest stories on the site started from not very well thought out starting threads and then took on a life of their own when people got behind them with new ideas.
I try not to add too many threads to my own stories as I like to see what people come up with. That to me is the fun part of site.
Anyway anytime someone is bored there are hundreds of stories out there that need some attention.

hehe yea...sometimes I get bored with my story...and find it fun to add onto other ppl's stories...the only problem is figuring out who is still an active author and whom gave it up a long time ago...like I'll see promising stories that could be fun to add to...but then you see it hasn't been altered since early this year or last year...

dead stories
check out my recent posts in "my threads, your threads" for stories that have apparently been orphaned by the authors since it had been at least three weeks and neither my, or any other posts, were approved when I posted. If there is a change, I'll post that, too. Unfortunately, it appears three more of my favorite stories have met the same end, though I'll give it a few more days before I post them there. Since ooohkitty said her goodbye there, I think we can assume 'Stone Wall Mall' is indeed one of the casualties, along with her other stories.
