Well, you ask a bigger question than I was getting at. I was just pointing out that having someone on ignore because the other person isn't man enough is an unintentionally ironic self-indictment.

As to your question...I tend to think Ignore says more about one's own self-control--to read and not respond--than it does about anything else. The world is filled with dolts, online is no different. But I also understand the desire to have one's escape truly be an escape.

So...I doubt you're a coward. That leaves dreamer, who would like her escape to be an escape. There are worse things to be.

WTF? Some people act like the ignore function hurts their ego or something. Has anyone learned from their days in civics class that you have a right to speak but not a right to be heard?

I must have missed out on the election they held for Grand Arbiter of when it's right to use ignore.

Ever notice that I don't protest when someone puts me on ignore? I don't give a shit. I don't try to get their attention. I don't need it. GBers will never realize that, and if they do, they won't be able to understand why.
