I don't give a flying fuck how influential Exile On Main Street is supposed to be.

Bitch + Can't You Hear Me Knocking. Seriously, you can't beat those two fucking songs.

Fuck you if you disagree.

that's cool, but rocks off is still the shit. perfect first track to almost any stones album.

and i can't really argue. i've been in a brian jones era kick as of late. mainly between the buttons and aftermath. no real idea as to why, but i don't really care either.

Brian Jones playing mellotron on 2000 Light Years From Home.

That song makes me so fucking happy.

i prefer him rocking the xylophone on under my thumb. again, no justification. i just fucking love it.

word.

Beggars Banquet or Let it Bleed

I never got the bru-ha -ha over "Exiles" either.

I think that album simply represents a moment in history when the Jagger and the Stones as an image hit some sort of critical mass with the public.

All that "trashy chic" packaging seemed to help it too.

Truth is, it was pretty weak in comparison to the two masterpieces that preceded it and would've made a better single album than a double set.

It's been a slow downhill for them ever since "Let it Bleed."

I agree with you, but I almost wish I didn't because I think it would have made for a fun fight.

And Rocks Off is the shit.

And Rocks Off is the shit.

It's a great song, I won't lie.

But the opening to both Bitch and Can't You Hear Me Knocking?

Shit is just fucking crazy!

You saw Sticky Fingers and your mind went in the gutter.

Some people's children.

my second year of college, there was a girl in the dorm people called stinky fingers. her room smelled like cunt. i swear.

hey, man, they were the stones. they didn't have to tune to shit.
I hate how in tune everything is now. Given enough beers and a bored enough table of people, I can expound on this for minutes at a time.
