Those things are alrerady on the market, and I've tested them. Won't catch on because frakly, the basic idea sucks. Sysytem too sensitive for visual noise. Can't say when I press a key or just linger above it. Looks like crap in sunlight too.

I was wondering about simple things like holding down the SHIFT. I bet it has a way to go. Maybe holograms, so you can see a key depress when you have done it right? Otherwise, all the feedback is in the form of errors within the application you're using.
