i don't know but when a guy asks for my number, i become defensive right away, you know what i mean? so i thought this was a pretty clever way to do it ... and that way i got to think about it and him a bit first ...

... as it was he got his friend (we met at the mutual friend's house) to call me anyways on his behalf <ha ha> but still ... in theory ... i thought it was a really good idea ....

Seriously - pick up lines can get me interested as long as they are complimentary. Us guys don't hear them that often so they don't get old and trite like the ones we try on women.

I reallly like that too... i bet most women do. It shows that the man isn't afraid of taking a chance. And, mostly likely, if he gives you his number he isn't hiding a wifey or g/f at home haha
