It won't take long for some crackpot leftist to blame this on the GOP and or Trump.

You'd never know from all your banter and delighted finger pointing. You are the worst kind of hypocrite.

I realize the truth is hard to take, especially the violent traits of your kind that can be very predictable. The left radicalizes people.

It took about 2 minutes after the story broke. Apparently the victims deserved it because - Trump.

What happened today is the result of an organized hate campaign by the left against Republicans that has continued non-stop for 8 years and will start up again tomorrow as if nothing negative has happened. This is the way they roll and will continue to roll. Their actions are those of domestic enemies. They want to kill the President and they want to kill Republicans and they want to kill their way to the top of the government if need be. Just look at the left's Twitter accounts.

Extremism of every political bend and every religious bend does. The right certainly is not exempted. A federal building left in rubble in Oklahoma City confirmed that. A Trump supporter assaulting a protester supports that. And the left is not exempted either. This shooting apparently confirms that.

You're reaching. Just admit your point was misplaced and move on.

"Reaching" about why even staunch gun rights supporters from wild west states who could apply for and get a DC permit don't bother?

You think Wayne LaPierre carries, even from Fairfax to Alexandria?

I live on the boarder of Maryland and West Virginia. In Maryland I need a hand gun license if I want to take my gun there. In West Virginia I don't. The same can be said throughout all of the country. Such is living in a country that has 50 states with 50 state constitutions and attendant laws. There's nothing magical about DC having it's own laws. In fact, even in the most permissive of states, you still can't carry a gun into a federal building.

So your point about DC's restrictive gun laws was a straw-man.

Spot on CJH. Extremism is the problem, and political is just as bad as religious when they resort to violence.

If you carry a gun in downtown Phoenix you're going to be momentarily inconvenienced when you enter one of the 20 or so federal buildings; you're going to have to surrender your firearm and put it in a gun locker or leave it out in your car. In Washington DC that's every building you might walk into.

There are virtually no (legal) guns carried in (AND AROUND) DC that are not in the hands of armed security guards, which puts the lie to the entire premise of Phrodo's inane musing about billybob "forgetting" his gun for an event and venue that I seriously doubt allowed them even if you have a carry permit.

The strawman is your argument that that reality and that anti-gun culture does not extend to Alexandria.

So. . .

Simulated Presidential beheadings. . .

Extremist, or no?

Forming bands of ironically-named, black-masked Anti-fascists armed with retarded implements of destruction...

Simply not true. I lived just outside DC for 20 years and had my own arsenal - all perfectly legal. Northern Virginia is the same way in that a lot of people carry legal guns.

You have to comply with the laws of the jurisdiction you are in. That's our system and not complicated.

You know, 1 thing has been lost in all this hyperbole;

No one died at the hands of the shooter.

The rest is all dross and window dressing.

i'll try to recall that in the future, corn-al...

Wait, was that supposed to be funny? Or insulting?

I ask because you failed at both regardless of intent. Oh lookie, your hall mommy is calling, time to go back to looking at pretty pictures...

Arsenal?

You had a building set aside for your guns? That's rather impressive.

One a nice sunny day, heading down to watch some national figures having a nice little practice game, which of those numerous firearms would you remove from your arsenal building to take with you to that game?

If tbe answer is "none of them" why not?

Expect to hear more of this: using this crime as a pretext for further elimination of legal opposition to the Trump agenda. It took a few months, but they got their Reichstag Fire.
