Ahhh, I don't know about y'all, but to me, Stephen King is the shit. hehe

His latest novel is absolutely fantastic! If you are aware of his accident, then you'll see the personification of this within this work.

All that aside, he's a wonderful storyteller and I enjoyed this novel immensely.

NOW, when will Diana Gabaldon come out with her next novel?

I JUST got this in the mail today. I can't wait to read it.

You might be interested in his book called "On Writing" It describes the way he writes and also tells you a lot about him and his life. I found it very interesting reading.

Angel -- enjoy hon, you'll love this book! It's gory just like most of his novels, but still raises the goosebumps on the body. For me, that gets a 10! *grin*

Charly, thanks! I will read that. Have you read any of Tabitha's works? (his wife)

Vixen,

No I haven't read any of hers, thanks for reminding me. I intended to look her books up.

I keep trying to read this book -- it was a birthday present -- and I don't care about the characters, and I can't grasp the story. It's a pity, because It, The Stand, The Shining and Needful Things are in my favorite book list.

Alas, I have abandoned the book, and will donate it to the library for the Book Fair.

I like Insomnia a great deal. It is currently my favorite King book, as I have just finished reading it for the 4th time. LOL.

The Stand and the Dark Tower series are also favorites as well as Through The Eyes of the Dragon. And the other Flagg/Tower books as well. I like how they are totally about different things and at the same time tie into the whole saga of the Tower and the beam.
