So, I got an idea lately I thought I would share.
What about a story where a girl gets with her new step-mother's ex-husband.
Was thinking like, the MC is a girl who just returned from college. In the last year her father has gotten together with a woman that is a bit younger than him, but not as young as the MC. (I would say maybe Dad in his 40's, stepmom 30's and MC early to mid 20's?).
They do get along, however MC does need some adjusting since her new step-mom has a child as well who is still very young, and MC is now some sort of step-sister since she moved back in.
One weekend, the Dad planned a long weekend away for him and stepmom. However they run into an issue, the plan was to bring the kid to school, then leave and the kids father would pick him up from school. But now the kid is sick and the father can't leave work early to pick him up.
So MC decides to offer to watch him untill the pickup time. However the kid gets even more sick with a high fever, but finally falls asleep just before the father arrives to pick him up. When MC opens the door she is met by a very handsome man and instantly feels butterflies. Since the kid just fell asleep they decide to not wake him up, but wait a while to let him get some rest, they have dinner together and with a glass of wine things get more flirty...
Of course he ends up staying the entire weekend where they make use of every second the kid is asleep.
And that is all I have, a bit vague and not much tbh. I don't really have time for another story to write, but I thought maybe someone else finds it a nice idea or can use it for inspiration.
