steak: raw, rare, or ruined?

seriously, how do you like your steak? nice and bloody and juicy and still warm from the kill like me? *smirk* or mostly brown with a little pink in it? or cooked thoroughly (and therefore utterly ruined) ?

come on tell me! don't you love licking the dripping blood off your fingers, swirling your tongue around each digit to savor every drop? *smiles* that's what i like to do...

Perfect Steak

Brown on both sides, pink in the middle.......no moooooing, and no charcoal crunchiness either.

Start with a very hot charcoal-Cherry wood fire. Spice a 1" thick rib steak with Montreal Steak Seasoning then sear it on both sides until it is dark brown on the outside and no more then medium rare inside. Cut, eat, enjoy!

PS: Make sure there is a lot of French bread available to sop up the juices left on the plate!

Rare.

Just walk it by the fire on the way to the table and then carve me off a good sized chunk.

Like a friend of mine told me once, "My GOD!!! I've seen cattle wounded worse than that get up and walk again!!!"


Same with hamburger. Give me the juices.

And a cold beer to wash it down with.
