Starting Over (Closed)

[NickisSora]

-Terry ran up from cooking the pancakes taking them off the griddle before going up stairs he looked.-"What is wrong?"

 

[lmcms]

Callie swallowed and blushed with embarassment. "I can't make it down stairs I don't even think I can stand again."

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry gently picked her up carrying her down the stairs as he smiled kissing her cheek.-"I am here do not worry."-he said as he sat her at the table and handed her a plate of pancakes.-

Callie wanted to cling to Terry and never let him go somehow when he held her the entire world looked diffrent, birghter, or maybe it was the secret tourch she carried for him for so long but she knew he never felt anything for her besides maybe a slight brotherly affection.

"Thanks." She said softly and about concetrating on eating. Swallowing was hard and painful but she managed to get it done. Now finished with her meal she waited for Terry to decide it was time to go.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry smiled.-"Let's get your shoes on and let's head out."-he helped her get flip flops on and smiled.-"Come on."-he slipped his sneakers on and helped her to the car and soon began driving off.-"so.....I have a question.....Cora told me....when i saw you next you had something to tell me....What up...she said it was really important to you."-Terry hoped it was about her feelings for him. Terry wanted to confess to it but she probably only saw him as a big brother.-

"so.....I have a question.....Cora told me....when i saw you next you had something to tell me....What up...she said it was really important to you."

Callie's eyes almost poped out of her head she was so shock she jerked her head to the side to stare at Terry having forgot momentarily about her tender neck and winced in pain. When she got over the pain she looked Terry in the eye and with all seriousness said, "As soon as I see your sister your are going to become an only child."

Shit what was Cora thinking setting her up for this type of humiliation. She couldn't get out of telling him now maybe she could postpon it yes that sounded good. "Can we talk about it after the Doctor has given me some pain meds so I won't be in so much pain?" She knew she was playing the guilt card but she needed time.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry nods.-"Sound reasonable sure."-Terry just smiled a bit as they got to the place she worked. Slowly Terry helped Callie up the stairs and in to the office where she had to be they signed her in and waited.-

The pain was making Callie tired so she rested her head against Terry in a comfortable silence her til her name was called. Once again Terry helped her into the room before Terry could leave however the Doctor charged into the room. He took one look at Callie and turned to Terry.

"YOu do this?" he asked with menace.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry held up his hands.-"Woah! Woah! Doc be serious....if i beat her why would i bring her in."-he said.-"No it was her boyfriend or I guess Ex now...ask her."-he said and sat down in the chair.-

The Doctor turn back to Callie. "Don't lie to me Cal who did this to you?"

"James" she answered honestly. Doc just shook his head. "How bad is it?"

The Doctor asking this questioin put Callie at ease and let her slip into nurse mode, "Mostly bruises and lacerations, nothings broken, I think there maybe muscle brusing too my throat and ribs are about to be the death of me cause of the pain when I move."

Doc nodded, "Let's have a look lift up the sweat shirt." Doing as she was told Callie lifted the sweat shirt to right under her breast showing that the right side of her rib cage was so covered in bruises it looked like one big bruise. She closed her eyes to her shame so she would see neither the doctor's face or Terry's when they was her side.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry bit his lip feeling horrible for her body.-"Christ....how do we relax her doc?"-The doctor gently ran his fingers over her body. Terry was concerned gently putting a hand on her head he stroked her hair gently.-

 

[lmcms]

Callie bit her lip as the Doc exaimened her. "Your right Callie the worst of it is deep muscle bruising. I am going to give you a prescibtion for muscle relaxers and pain pills and I am giving you a week off work as well."

"Yes Sir" Callie replied.

Once they got the presciption Terry carried her back to the truck to and they went to get it filled before they went back to Cora's.

 

[NickisSora]

-Once they got her medicine filled Terry gently laid her down and smiled as he made her comfortable on the couch he smiled.-"Are you going to be ok?"

After taking the meds Callie was feeling rather high. When Terry asked if she ws going to be okay she smiled drunkily up at him. "Can I tell you a secret?"

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry smiled.-"Sure go on..."-he chuckled and held her hand.-

 

[lmcms]

She gripped his hand pulling him closer and whispered, "I love you. I been carring a tourch for you for years. Cora is trying to make me tell you, but you can't tell you cause you only think of me as your sister's friend and the rejection would break my heart."

She smiled again and laid her head on his hand. Part of her knew what she had just done but it was to late to take it back. She looked up at him rather serious and very sad.

"Guess the cat's out of the bag now."

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry smiled to her eyes.-"Well....that is....a surprise......Here i thought you only thought of me as a big brother....i been harvesting the same feelings for you as well.I guess i always thought of you as adorable and so.....cute."

 

[lmcms]

"You don't have to say that to try and make me feel better its okay". She said with a sigh turning her head away.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry shook his head.-"I am not just saying it....I mean it."-he smiled and gently holds her hands lovingly.-"I truly do like you. I have mutual feelings for you and i am happy you returned them."

 

[lmcms]

Callie blushed looking away and nodded. "Okay Terry I'll believe you but we have to talk about it later........I'm falling asleep." and with that she once again fell asleep with Terry holding on to her.

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry relaxed back on the couch smiling as he stroked her hair and relaxed with her in his arms.-

Hours latter Callie began to wake snuggling closer to the warm chest against her cheek mummering happily though she couldn't remember why she was so happy. After a few moment she finally came to full consiousness and remembered everything said before she had fallen asleep. She kept her eyes sealed shut and softly whispered, "Terry?"

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry smiled as her form wiggled in his arms. he certainly enjoyed the way her body squirmed again him.-"Yes Callie?"-he said and smiled petting her hair gently.-

Yup he was awake might as well get the tough questions out there so she could crawl however painful over this hump. "What do we do now?"

 

[NickisSora]

-Terry looked to her.-"I take care of you love you and go on dates and we have fun....you know the usual dating scene."-he chuckled.-"Unless you like leather and bondage then we have to go to the store."-he chuckled a bit harder trying to bring a smile to her face.-
