Starting anew

Hello.....
I have been away for several years and I am just now returning. I would very much like to get back into SRP.

Story idea.....
It's 1866 and the Civil War has ended and there are many diverse people roaming the southern states. The story is about a white exconfederate soldier heading west to start a new life at 24. He saves a negro woman from being hanged by a group of citizens from a nearby town. I'll only say that she is 36 years old and let who ever will do her part make her up from there.

I want to build story line and background first to help strenghen the thread. We can add playersd as we go as needed to build the story

That's brilliant! The possibilities are so wonderful in exploring such a rich and vibrant thread.

One question, though. Is she a young 36 or does she look much older from having been ridden hard and put away wet during the War?
