Hello,

I'm looking for some one to have a look at a story I started. I'm a bit dyslexic and hence spelling is only corrected by spell check, that some times misses things. I would also like advice and hints on what the story is missing (if anything) If it is a good read, etc

Its my 1st time writing a story like this, in fact its my 1st time writing, period. There's about 6 pages in this part. It is not interracial, it doesn't include forced sex, and no animals were harmed during the writing of it.
Thanks in advance,

Pip

Hi Pip and welcome to the Editor's Forum :)

My editing plate is full...more than full it's overflowiing....but I can't let anyone stand alone and not get the help they want and/or need.

If nobody answers you by the end of this day send me your story and I'll see what I can do. It might take me a while to get to it; as I said my plate is overflowing but I won't let you down.

Thank you very much for replying, and for your very kind offer. It's greatly appreciated. And what a nice person you must be, offering to to help out a newbie and undertake more work, when your plate is so full. Thanks a million.

We'll see how we go today, and if there are no takers by tomorrow, I'll drop you a line.

Oh, dear. I'm not sure that these Americans can be trusted with Irish English, but if a Welshman will do, email it to me on dawiro@onetel.com and I promise to get it back by Monday if I receive it before Saturday.

Of course if you are writing in Irish, I can't help.

Hey Snoop....it's even worse than you can think....I'm CANADIAN!!! But, but..but...my redeeming quality is that I married a Brit :D and he's teaching me all the expressions you REAL English use :)

May I make a delicate suggestion, please? Ask your Brit husband what the reaction of a Welshman, or a Scot for that matter, is to being called "English", and more so a "REAL English[man]".

Sorry Apip, I didn't mean to hijack the thread.

No worries about Hijacking the thread, but be careful with the Brit thing. I'm and English man living in Ireland!!!

Snooper, I'm going to send over a word doc. to your e mail. Thanks in advance,

Pip
