He is a nerdy academic sort, straight As, but signed up for the Astronomy "bird" course cause he needed one more elective.
She is the star of the volleyball team, enrolled in the same course because that's what jocks do.
Mid term there is a midnight star gazing session. The whole class buses out to the country side and climbs to the top of a big hill.
He was clever enough to bring a blanket, think ing he could sit on it. except being a clear night, it is very cool.
Though they've never spoken before, she asks if she can share his blanket....
