I just saw a great Episode... the team goes to a planet with two warring continents, one believes God created life on their continent, and the other believes they came through a gateway. The Stargate was uncovered mere moments (convenient, huh?) before SG-1 comes through, and they are captured. Teal'c is injured, and a scientist is trying to help him. Teal'c says to him "I represent everything you believe is wrong. why would you help me?" To which the scientist respond, "Teal'c, I am a scientist. It is just as exciting when my theories are proved wrong as if they are proved right. Scientific advancement in either way is still advancement"

I absolutely love this episode, just for that scene.

I love it. I missed like, a bunch of seasons, so I can't wait until more come out on DVD.

Sci-fi channel?

Did you watch on the sci-fi channel tonight? Every Monday night they show 3 episodes in a row. I usually miss the first episode cause of Antiques Road show and the third for CSI. Just love the show. I think I have seen all the shows at least twice.
It was way cool on Showtime in High Definition. I bought a new Sony TV and HD decoder just for Stargate and The Sopranos in High Def.

I dont think I have seen that episode......

I dont think the show runs anymore eithere here :( I love the show.

I just saw that episode too. It was okay although a bit simplistic and the message was contrived.

For some reason I have started to watch and like SG-1. Normally I don't like such series based on a movie as they are usually poorly written, poorly acted and poorly produced - but right now I am being entertained - eventually I will get bored with it.

I'm watching the episode where Daniel learns the mind flame telekenisis trick right now. Don't give the ending away Heh.

I find it (usually) well written and good. I love Daniel for his scientific naievity, Carter for her Scientific Militarism, Teal'c for his Military Honor, and O'Niell for his humor and wit.

And I would like to lick her body ALL over.

Heh, me too, but the one I really want is Dr. Frasier (Teryl Rothery) SHE'S hot, and she was the Dub voice for Kodachi Kuno, so that makes her all the more hot

hes a cool guy with a very hard job

I think Stargate SG-1 is great. I am watching the old reruns on tv due to a lack of cable. I am strting to collect the DVDs as I find them I only have the first DVD right now.

Stargate SG-1 rocks!

Though, it's on reruns at the moment, and I'm too busy when its on; which is Saturday 7:30pm.

We did get up to the series were Daniel Jackson is replaced by that other dude.

In the new season on FX, Daniel is back. Descended and flesh and blood.

I thought

I thought the Sci-Fi channel had the newest shows. Does the FX channel have newer ones?
I get it on Sci-Fi on Fridays at 8 pm central.
I was not aware that Daniel had returned.

I think SciFi has both reruns and the latest episode - or maybe not. One thing I did notice is that the SciFi channel has a four hour SG-1 marathon on Mondays 4-8 PM PST, then plays these same four episodes each night Monday through Thursday at 10-11 PM PST. BTW, these times are for satellite (DirectTV) - cable times will vary by your location.

On Friday they then play a fifth episode. I haven't been watching long enough to know whether the Friday night episode is a rerun too - or not.
