Just thinking of maybe taking someone on to help you with the chores in the kitchen ...y'know, so that you can concentrate on all the baking and creative pretty stuff while someone does all the prep work and cleaning!
We had a guy come in the other day looking for some part-time work to help with his college fees...

And to be honest I’m probably lucky that I still have a door. Considering the boss man was looking at knocking down a wall to put in a large window so people could see me when I’m in the kitchen I’m surprised that he hasn’t started by just removing my door…

And to be honest I’m probably lucky that I still have a door. Considering the boss man was looking at knocking down a wall to put in a large window so people could see me when I’m in the kitchen I’m surprised that he hasn’t started by just removing my door…
It's not too bad being in the no door club. You just have got to expect him to pop up at random intervals for an "inspection"

I've got a few...kinks...to work out in the books. I'd love a tour of the basement but I do wish to return unscathed...do you promise to protect me from whatever is lurking down there? 
I've encouraged the staff to buy more "themed" mugs but the branded ones should still be used. This mug will do fine, I like one with a sturdy handle to grip

I did look into removing the door ...but Health & Safety put a Kibosh on the idea ...something about needing a suitable firedoor blah blah blah!
But still like the idea of a large window so our customers can watch their food being prepared and what you get up to in there ...and I'm sure seeing you covered in flour and chocolate and stuff ...and seeing you stretch on tip-toes for the stuff on the high shelves or bend down to get stuff out the low cupboards and draws - wouldn't be a bad thing either!

Oh don't believe everything you hear about the basement! You'll be perfectly safe(...ish!) with me!
...I do think it's important that you understand what we invest a lot of money in ...and the benefits and returns we get from those investments! ...and I think the best way is experience some of these yourself! ...I mean, you wouldn't serve a dish or a blend of coffee to a customer without testing them yourself! ...now would you? And as for returning 'unscathed' ....well I can't promise that a 1005, BUT that could be so boring anyway! ...but a little bit 'scathed' on the other hand can be fun though!
Oh! ...and we have had delivery of a few of those sample stools and chairs we spoke about a while back! So maybe you could see if they're suitable for comfort over long periods and conducive to relieving stress?
