Starfish!

i took the pic too........have a whole ton of slides with other work.....when i get them scanned in i will post more.......i am a photography nut too lol...........

went to the school of craft and design......then went back and got a real job.....but it will always be my passion............

April Wine, that is such a cool ass piece of pottery. I am impressed. I was considering starting into clay, because I did sculpture for several years, but I don't want to because I can't afford my own kiln and I'd have to pay to use the one at our local ceramics shop. I might look into other local guilds. Actually I am in desperate need of starting to do bonsai pots, so I may not have a choice soon. :D

Angel, you tease me too much. That would be such a beautiful painting. You are so beautiful so it would HAVE to be.

Ruby, Actually, that is the only painting I've ever done for myself.
Go figure, huh?

My home is sort of decorated in a toss up between an Asian dojo, and a lush garden. I've never kept anything for myself, but once I started that one, I knew it would be mine. It is hanging up already too.

I am considering your desires, and I am sure that it won't be long before I have some stuff to show you.

I do have to do one piece for my Mother and Father in law for Christmas, so I have to get that done asap, but I can work on several peices at a time.

Bummer. I love it! Maybe even more than the other one.

Would it help if I sent you pics of our house?

Ruby

Yes, It would help. I can coordinate it more easily that way.

My email is on this thread somewhere, if you want to do it like that.

It would make it so much better to get an idea from.

And were to imagine your naked lusty body all day. ;)

That would make me a very happy Starfish! :)

(the getting naked with you part)

Yes join a guild.......they would probably have a membership fee, but then you could use the facilities.........I have just signed up to Hutton House.......It cost me about $175 bucks........but i get free reign for the year wooooooohooooooooo.......i don't really need classes just the facility..........the only bummer i can't raku...........grrrrr it is within the city limits........so i am trying to figure out how to get away with it lol................;) ;)

Why, you've been holding out on us april!
What a drop-dead gorgeous piece of pottery that is.
You're quite a talented potter, darlin'.

As Ruby said, it never suprises me when someone else here turns up to be a marvelously creative person. It's like finding a perfect shell as you're walking on the beach, unexpected and wondrous but perfectly appropriate for the location.

I buy "art pottery", btw. Unusual pieces, things that appeal to me from a sensual perspective. Got more pics coming, hmmm? Still have any of your work lying around?

Oh yes, that is slightly dangerous if you don't know what you are doing, but you seem to have a good clue in on it.

I've never done that so I'd probably catch leaves on fire or something and burn the city down. :D

I will look into our local botanical garden. They have pottery, stained glass, and other artist guilds on sight, because of the idea that inspiration is just a walk a way.

I still LOVE that av cym lol..........sheesh......Just can't take my eyes off it lol.............:) :)

Starfish,

When I looked at your avitar, I had a feeling it was one of your beautiful pieces. There is something quite whimsical, yet earthy about your paintings at the sight you listed. They all have something very wonderful in common, though...they all give the person enjoying them something different to gaze upon with each blink of an eye. Each mystical piece is a story in the making.

Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us. In your honor, I'm going to go see the Picasso exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art this weekend. I'll enjoy it as if looking through your eyes.

april-wine,

I don't know where to start first. There are so many talented people here at Literotica. I guess some of us need to be content with just sharing in the beauty that is all around us. Your Pottery is magnificent. I know just how time consuming working on a piece like that is as I once tried to do some ceramic work. Patience is one of the necessary ingredients as well as being able to visualize how you want the end result to look. I have trouble with those things.

I'll just be content with watching and looking and taking in all of the wonder that surrounds us.

Thank you, again, both of you for sharing with us.

Thank you much Enchanted. I hope you have a blast, and I wish I could make the drive to go with you, but School poses a problem for that. :(

Have loads of fun!

Thanks lavender......I finally got a scanner lol......so I am able to show off a little.......though Starfish has me beat hands down........:) :)

thanks guys, but I am not that good. I am not saying that from a egofillseeking standpoint.

I mean that.

Although oils aren't my within my budget right now, I may try them in the future.

The works of Sir Lawrence Alma Tedema.....

Starfish,

You are too good. All of say so, so it must be true!

Did you get my email?

Ruby

For when you get up this morning...

Morning Ruby,

I did get your email, and you now have mail.

Here is the first shot that I said I had to show you.
All of these are spoken for, but you should know that I am not limited to just fantasy art.
Oh, and I forgot to add that yes, we should do it horizontal. ;)

This was done in 1992

These are the ones I did yesterday and today, for my Elfwood gallery.
