StarFish!!!

Oh, Soon, I guess, then! I will have to unload my camera and take some pics of a few of the dresses I've made, and other stuff.

I want to see your path. I just love stone paths!

Here is a pic of my mulching project from last weekend. One stone is set for the path that will run through it, but I still have to get more before I can finish it. I will plant it all up this fall. :)

Here's a picture of the stone I'm using... it's frickin' HUGE... next to the central air unit. I just about broke my spine trying to move the thing.

OMG! I love that moddled sulfurishness. So Moroccan!

So cool. I love how you can create texture with paint.

They are really cool. :)

Here is a pic I took of my silver face painting escapades......

I will post another I took where you can't see the paint so much, but I like how the pic turned out.

Oh Wow! Ever played with Henna tattoos? I do most of my own, you should look into it if you haven't already. Although, I'm not sure if you're allergic to it.

I want to take a moment to say...you 2 rock.
I wish I had that kind of time and energy.

Just in case you dont feel validated....

Wow, MistressHoney, and BBblue, Thank you. Myst and I are kindred spirits. I wish you could show some of your stuff you've made, even if it wasn't your idea. It still takes effort, and I am always an admirer of effort. :)

Myst, that rock would have whooped me. You and I both need wheelbarrels. :) I have used henna on my hair, and is now my choice of colorant... I will definately try it. It seems so neat.

Last on of my little painting venture.

I've used Henna on my hair, too.... it looks gorgeous! But it takes so much time!

This is the lamp after I finished the shade (handmade paper with marigold petals).

Holy cow!

I love this stuff. That totem is righteous.

That stone is huge! How did you move that?
Crimeni!

Oh and don' t you love how henna is like the texture of wett lawn clippings? Smells like wet hay too. :)

here is a pic of my little rock display thing.

We are shy on free rock in my area, because we have no mountains, but they quarry here, so you can buy rock, but I am a poor student so I have to wait for that.

I meant to add that that deck is amazing.

My dad built mine, but it is hard to get a good pic of it.

I understand that! I hate having to heat the Henna first. Ew! My cabin has a huge fallen rock garden, that's where I snatched that monster from! The otherside was the sunside, so it has lichen all over it, but I thought this side was prettier. As for moving it, I'm stronger than I look! ;) How much does the rock down there sell for?

Well, I am not certain about costs, but about a hundred bucks a ton and a ton isn't very much. That is a quess.

My husband works in landscaping, so he can get it at about half that. Still, it is pretty high.

Yeah, It is stained in a stain called 'Redwood'. It is just wood, nothing special or rare (which I am not real fond of using for environmental reasons).

I think that the stain is from Thompsons but I am not sure. Next time I go to the garage i'll check the can. We always have an extra can in case there is a nick, or the stain fades or worse, they discontinue the color.

Where did ya dissapear to, last night, after I went to barf?

Well, I got to feeling a bit better, and took some pictures...

Lots of pictures......

Here we go...

The only other painting I have hung. I am not even sure that I have any others or if I've given them all away. I have to go out to my in laws house, where they have two of my paintings.

On to the few dresses I have not sold.

I have sewn since I was 16. Gives me something else to do that isn't full of pressure...

Here is my most current project. (though I have about 20 started, or planned)

This is going to be on the bottom tier of a dress that will be navy blue, with stars.

I will try to finish it soon, but this applique shit takes years.
