Tawain

ooc: ok Renegade, edited my post as well, hope it's ok now.
ic:
I love you...
Tawain felt the message, knew it came from Sha'ara.
Warmth filled his body, and tears of joy and sadness filled his eyes, as he thrust out light sabre towards Darth Mask, to punish him for what he had done for Sha'ara, and to end his menace once and forever...
Die, Darth Mask, die! Oh, Sha'ara, don't leave me just yet, not yet...

OOC

I'm totally loving this, but, alas I have to go!! Housework, ugh!! I might be on later tonight. A friend of mine is supposed to be coming over to watch a movie, but if he doesn't I will definitely be here!!! :D

Zen

I pulled myself back up and saw Tawain preparing to battle Darth Mask. Grabbing my sabers I walk over to Tawain "Let's finish him once and for all."

We stand side by side as Darth Mask taunts "It does not matter how many of you I fight at once. The Dark side will win this battle in the end!" With that he charged at us as the battle began.

ooc:Well, If you're all leaving i suppose i will too. see you later

ic:
Together with Zen, Tawain circled Darth Mask, tears streaming down his eyes. He barely heard the Sith lord's taunts.
Oh, Sha'ara. Don't die, Sha'ara. I'd rather die myself. Please, Sha'ara don't...
The thoughts ebbed away as he concentrated on the fight, feeling strangely empty. The force was back, and he used it, but without thinking much, almost mechanically. His mind was a dull grey as fought, step for step, stroke for stroke, he and Zen slowly driving Darth Mask backwards...

Silver Dread...

She was stoic watching the drama playing out before her. The Master had indeed taught her well. She felt numb inside, but not hurt or angered by his betrayal of her. Her head throbbed where the guard had knocked her. These people though... what was it that kept them so impassioned she wondered? She saw the woman flinging herself onto the Master... Silver could see she was severely injured... why?

Seeing her chance she used her force. The guard standing over her hesitated before suddenly kneeling to undo her chains. The battle between the young Jedi Knights and the Lord was intense. She stood slowly so as not to draw attention to herself. She could see Ganor fighting by the Master. She watched dispassionately. The guard was still held by her mind. She considered her options. She glanced down at Kat still chained and back at the guard... and then to the fighting. She was confused... she saw the severed limb of her Master lying on the floor of the throne room. She didn't like the sensations running through her body. Drakon hadn't killed her. Why? She hated the chaos of her emotions. With a quick thought that she didn't analyse too much she glanced at the fallen woman. The wound was deep... the blood was flowing easily out of her.

She knelt and unchained Kat. Kat looked surprised. "What?"
Silver spoke... "that woman needs help... if you are as brave as you seem... help her..."
Kat blinked... but couldn't see Silver's eyes... Silver stood quickly... three guards followed her willfully out into the hallway and she was gone...

"Master... your escape vehicle is ready..."
The dark lord smiled. "Ahh... good... Silver... "he spoke back to her with not a glimmer of surprise. He threw a gas bomb forward at the oncoming Knights and they coughed surprised. When the smoke cleared both the Lord and Ganor where gone.

Ronag ran into the corridor, but it was too late, they were gone. He looked back at the band of soldiers.
"It is over, for now..."
He could see a few people were helping to treat the wounds of others. Drakon looked hurt, but then again so was he.
Ronag felt his arm, a sharp pain hit him. Ganor had nearly got him that time. He had nearly got Ganor too.
"Well, I hate to cut the whole moment short people, but this place is about to explode," Ronag put away his light saber.
"He's right," Zen said, he seemed to be in pain as well, "We need to get out of here, and quick."
A jedi student piped up, "We have no time to lose..."

Madison:

Everything happened so fast. She didn't have time to struggle or scream. One moment she was watching the fight and the next she was being dragged against her will into an escape ship.

"Watch her. Make sure she stays put. I have special plans for you my dear. You will be the downfall of the Jedi Zen, and when he falls so will the others."

"NO! I won't help you! I would rather die."

"I'm not giving you a choice."

Madison could feel the tears falling down her cheeks. Zen, my love, I won't betray you. I promise. She could only hope that he heard her thoughts.

"I love you." It was a small whisper, but it escaped her lips before she could stop it, and she heard Darth Masks harsh laugh echo in her ears.

Zen

I heard Madison in my head 'I love you' she said as she was dragged into the escape pod. I cursed myself for they were gone before I could do anything.

Farlo yelled "The Death Star is going to blow! We gotta get going now!" Reluctantly I joined the others as we quickly made our way through the Death Star! Drakon seemed as reluctant to leave as me and Tarwain and Farlo were both worried about Sha'ara.

Non of the Stormtroopers gave us much trouble untill we found a few trying to steal the White Hawk but our combined might was enough to stop them.

I noticed that the Bounty Hunter that kidnapped Madison was boarding his own ship and seemed to have his mind on other things. I dont think we've seen the last of him.

All of us quickly boarded the White Hawk. Tawain and Kat carried Shr'ara to the back as the rest of us took our seats while Farlo flew us out of there! Suddenly all of the exits for the ships closed!

I yelled "How we going to get out of here?"

Farlo simply fired at a wall giving us a clear way out. He yelled back to me "Good enough?"

Just then the charges on the Death Star went off as the entire space station started to go up in a number of explosions! Farlo put the ship into overdrive as we speed out of the Death Star with the explosions going off right behind us! We speed off into space leaving what was once the Death Star behind.

"Will this ship hold together?" asked Ronag as everyone inside struggled to keep from flying all over the place.

Farlo simply said "Dont worry, this girl can handle anything."

After things calmed down I looked out the side, out into the stars. "Madison", I said to myself "I will find you no matter what."

Ronag puts his hand on my shoulder "Zen, I think I know where they are heading."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Darth Mask:

Darth Mask looked over Madison as Gonar asked "Where to now Master? Do we head out of here and regroup with the others?"

Darth Mask smiled "No, have the men meet us at the rebel base. We will end this battle between the Empire and the Jedi once and for all."

With that the escape pod began it's way for the rebel base followed by several ships filled with Stormtroopers.

Sha'ara

Waking briefly, through a cloud of pain, I feel Tawain's hand tightly gripping my own and I see Farlo behind the wheel of the White Hawk. Take us home, Farlo. I think to him. He replies, Just rest back there... and don't die on me kid. I fall back asleep.

Darth Mask

After the escape pod and the ships landed on the planet Darth Mask ordered a head count. The Commander of the Stormtroopers reported "Other then yourself and your two pupils we have counted 64 Stormtroopers sir. The rest were either killed on the Death Star or have left to save themself."

Darth Mask nodded to the Commander as he explained to his troop "This is it! There will be no more battles for leadership of the galaxy. Today we will either destroy the Jedi or die trying."

He pointed to the base "THERE is were the last of the Jedi are training. That is also the home of Princess Leia Organa. We will reunite her with her family today. VICTORY WILL BE OURS!!!"

There was a huge cheer among the Stormtroopers as Darth Mask finished "There will be no mercy. But Leia will be our prisoner. Now go forth and destroy the jedi once and for ALL!!! Ganor! Silver Dread! Lead them to victory!"

With that all that was left of the Empire charged forword onto the rebel base.

Darth Mask looked at Madison "You are important to me young lady. Using you I shall kill the one called Zen and without him there will be no Jedi Masters left to train the Jedi. And the Sith will rule again."

Zen

Ronag explained that Darth Mask was determined to stop the Jedi or die trying with this attack. This meant that he would not leave to regroup but that he would head to the rebel base for a final confrontation.

We tried to make radio contact with the base but there was no response. We had to assume the worst but hope for the best. Farlo took us straight to the planet as we landed right outside of the rebel base.

Once there I told him "Farlo, open the doors to let me out. The rest of you stay here for now."

The doors opened for me then closed once I steped outside. I walked up to the gates of the base and could already feel the dark side at work. Darth Masks voice could be heard over the loud speaker "Welcome home young Jedi. We have been expecting you for some time."

I yelled "What have you done with Madison, Leia and the rest of the students?"

Masks sinister voice could be heard to all "Leia and the students that lived are fine, for now. As for Madison, have a look."

Just then the gate opened and inside I saw Madison tied to a chair with a piece of cloth over her mouth! Her face showing much concern as she struggled to get free. I could feel my anger growing as I tried to remain calm. I knew he wanted us to become clouded with our emotions and my emotions were telling me to run to her now but it had to be a trap.

I challenged him "Come out and fight like a warrior Mask. Instead of hiding behind a beautiful woman." D

arth Masks laugh could be heard echoing over the speakers "I think now my boy. You will not live much longer. NOW!"

Two stormtroopers came out of nowhere and aimed there weapons at Madison!

"Noo!" was the only thing that came from my mouth as I charged into the two stormtroopers with both sabers! I knew this is what Mask wanted but I couldnt let him kill Madison so with one quick move I lashed out at the two stormtroopers but nothing happened?

The troopers were hologram images!

Mask could be heard yelling "Do it now!" Out of nowhere laser beams fired at me from all directions at once as the stormtroopers jumped from there hiding places.
Using both sabers I reflected as many beams as I could back at the troopers but one was able to get a hit to my side!

I rolled out of the way from the hit as I could feel my burned flesh beneath my uniform! A quick stormtrooper hit me over the head with his rifle hard and fast! I fell to the ground as they charged ontop of me and held my arms and legs!

Masks voice ordered over the speaker "Now my stormtroopers, kill him!"

A stormtrooper pulled out his weapon and aimed it at my head. I was looking straight into the barrel of it as I could hear his fingers grip the trigger as he prepared to fire.

I've got a lot of reading to do...

OOC: OH MAN!!!! WAIT!!!! I guess this place didn't close for the holiday weekend.... I gotta go find out where I am and what I'm doing...am I still alive?? LOL...I'll be back to post if I am! :)

Unfinished business...

Drakon spun through air on the wings of the Force, unleashing his saber as he did. He was a red hurricane. The first slash severed the Trooper's hand, the next his leg, and the last his head.

"You can't die without ever giving me that fight you promised!"

Drakon grabbed Zen and rolled away under the White Hawk for cover.

"They'll go after Leia", said Zen, holding his wound.

Drakon replied, "Silver Dread is mine, and Ganor yours. We are the best, Zen. The students can handle the Troopers. Mask is very weak now. We have to make this count or all is lost."

Zen knew Drakon was right. They rolled out on opposite sides of the ship and chased their chosen adversaries, cutting their way through Storm Troopers in the process.

Drakon ran up the hill to overtake Silver, yelling, "There is no time for us, Beloved! This must end! Surrender or face me!"

Silver turned, shaken by Drakon's words. Was this their end?

Farlo Truan

OOC: Back on the planet already? Death star go boom-boom?! :D now I'm up there with Luke and Han!

I dropped the elevator hatch again, and almost immediately the air above it, inside the White Hawk, was filled with blaster fire, Stormtroopers firing up inside the ship from below.
"I kept one of these just in case" I grinned at the others aboard, pulling a thermal charge out of the bag I had hung over my pilot seat.
After the explosion, a plume of smoke began rising into the White Hawk, and we each took this opportunity to leap down. (OOC: Jedi style, of course!)
I glanced upwards and grimaced at the sight of the White Hawk's underbelly.
"She's gonna need one heck of a respray".
Sha'ara and Tawain both caught that comment, and laughed.
"Damnit, it's not funny!" I said, igniting my lightsabe, as I ran out into the ranks of the stormtroopers who were surrounding the White Hawk.
"FOR LUKE!" I shouted out, swinging my blade, kicking out with my boots and the force, sending white-armoured bodies tumbling this way and that, and the stench of blaster fire and burnt flesh quickly beginning to assault my nostrils.
"FOR LUKE!" I heard the others chorus.
But, no anger filled my heart or mind, or, I sensed, the others. For Luke spoke to us all then, his calming voice flowing through us as the Force now did:
When a Jedi dies, their spirit joins with the Force, is strengthened by it. When a Sith dies, their spirit is consumed by the Dark Side. In life, and death, a Sith is alone. They cannot even trust their 'fellow' Sith. Jedi are never alone. Loyalty garnered through fear is false, loyalty gained through friendship is eternal.
No doubt the stormtroopers were a little unnerved by our smiling faces then, as we clove our way through their ranks.

Tawain

ooc: oh gods, this is moving at hyperspeed!
It's all a confused Jedi in love can do to keep up :D

ic:
Tawain saw Drakon and Zen disappear into the base, saw Farlo and Ronag fight the troopers.
Tawain fought as well, but his only aim was to keep them from Sha'ara. She might hate him for this, accuse him of being selfsish and arrogant, but he did not care.
He was determined that if either of them should break their pact, he would be the first.

OOC: Kepic

Kepic... Sha'ara is pretty much incapacitated at this point. She's lost a lot of blood... in and out of consciousness.

Sha'ara

Barely clinging to life, I can feel Tawain's arm around me, holding me up. Farlo is somewhere ahead of us acting the hero no doubt. Somewhere in the back of my mind I sense that Leia is still alive, Thank God.

Weakly, I say, "Tawain, just let me go... save yourself."

Tawain

"What, and have you die as soon as I have my back turned?"
Tawain had meant it as a joke, but the words came out strangled.
"Listen, Sha'ara, either we live together, or we die together. There are enough people getting killed without me abondoning you."
Great. Now I start to patronize her as well. Well, not really, but that's how she'll see it. And I can't really blame her, can I?

Sha'ara

I give Tawain a quick peck, repeating the gesture I used earlier with Farlo, "For luck," I say. Pulling out my blaster with my right hand and holding onto Tawain with my left arm, I tell him, "At least get me to a med-station, okay?" Weakly I smile at him.

Tawain

Tawain gave Sha'ara an encouraging grin and said
"Sure, have you there in no time."
He returned to fighting, this time slowly but surely cleaving his way through the stormtroopers. After a while he heard Farlo's shout.
"Hey, Tawain, Zen and Drako went that way!"
Looking over his shoulder, Tawain shouted "I know! Go and help them, I've got to get Sha'ara to a med-station!"

Some time later, he was helping Sha'ara along a corridor, fortunately empty.
Going through a door, Tawain breathed a sigh of relief as he saw that the medical droid was still active.
Gently laying Sha'ara on a bed, he said "Tend to her." then watched anxiously as the robot went about its duty...

Zen

Madison had been taken back into the base and I couldn't find her! After searching the base like crazy I hear a voice "So the Jedi master comes back home." I turn to see Ganor in front of me with his saber out. "Where's my old friend?" he asks as he approaches me "Still hiding from his fate?" I pull out my saber as we prepare to battle.

Killian Alladus:

Killian just got his ship out of the hanger as the Death Star started to break apart. Flames engulfed the craft as it sped off, but the ship made it through the heat and drebri with nothing more then scratches. Killian smirked softly to himself glad some intuition told him to have his deflector shields fixed before taking this task.

Watching the pod the Emperor and his minions escaped in closely on his monitor, Killian set a parallel course to the planet that held the rebel base.

"I never get stood up when it comes to getting paid for a job." Killian mused as he desintigrated his orbit around the planet.

~Time Passes~

With his cloak swirling behind him as he sped twards the Rebel Base on a 'barrowed' speederbike, dodging trees and fallen limbs the whole way there, Killian brooded over his dicision to take this job.

Perhaps the Jedi did need his help. They did almost loose it all on the Death Star. Luke's lose was enough, but if these Jedi would fall to the Empire the galaxy would only have one other Jedi Master to turn to.

The site of smoke and the sound of blasters being fired alerted him to his proxcimity to the Rebel Base. The battle raged on, and Killian would be damned if he wasnt getting involved with this one.

The fight was brutal. Ganor (A before O as in armor and aloe) was too much of a match. He had not battled as hard as Zen on the ship. Ganor jumped in the air, crossing over Zen.
Zen turned around, but his light saber flew from his hands. Ganor smiled, "It ends Jedi."
He prepared the final blow, letting the saber arch down. He was about to cut him in two.
"Not so fast..." Ronag blocked the attack, the saber inches from Zen's face.
Ronag turned to Zen, "Find her. Find her and save her. sher needs your help."
Zen nodded, picking up his saber he ran inside the base.
Ronag turned back to Ganor.
"This is it," Ganor said, raising his saber at the Jedi.
"Looks like it," Ronag pointed his at the Sith.
They circled each other, no one fighting, both of the saber were mere inches from their faces. Ronag could smell the stench of evil on Ganor.
Ganor struck first, jumping up in the air as he went down. Ronag blocked, but the blow was too strong, he fell to his knees, still blocking the saber.
Ganor smiled as he took the saber down. It slowly made it's way to Ronag's shoulder. He tried to stop it, but his grip was not as strong as Ganor's. Now his own saber, under the Sith's, would be the one to hurt him. Ronag screamed out.
The saber touched him, a bolt of electricity ran through his shoulder as Ronag felt the pain. It was sharp, hot, everything he expected from a saber wound.
Ronag had to do something, before he was going to die by his own saber. He looked in to the eyes of Ganor.
"Make your peace now Jedi," he laughed.
Ronag looked down, this was it, this was his last feet?
Ronag looked at his legs, yes why didn't he see it before. He quickly ducked, doing a roundhouse on the ground.
Ganor fell on his ass, as Ronag got up.
He pointed the saber at Ganor's throat.
"Surrender. There are not Sith choices here, only surrender."
Ganor smiled, kicking the saber out of his hands. It fell into the bushes. Ronag's temporary won, was taken over by a loss.
Ganor got up, his saber pointed at Ronag, "Whats wrong? Lost your toy? It would do you no good anyway."
He raised the saber high above his head. Ronag took the chance. He ran towards the bush.
Ganor smiled, he watched the Jedi running, then quick as lightening he threw his saber. It was aimed true.
Ronag used the force at the last second. The saber flew close to twenty feet into his arms. He turned around, slicing the saber in two. Ronag smiled at Ganor.
"Victory is mine, you don't even have a saber left to fight."
Ganor grinnned evilly as he pulled out another saber, this one as big as his master's. Twice the size of a normal saber.
"I guess you two haven't been aquainted yet," Ganor ran after Ronag, a look of ragein his eyes. Ronag stood his ground, saber in hand.
They both felt it at the same time. Ganor stopped, skidding against the ground. He looked out into the woods. Ronag looked at the same direction.
"Tha ancient artifact is here?" Ganor asked, to no one in particular, "The key is here? On this dismal (sp) planet? It can't be, It can't be..."
Ronag answered him, "It is. It is here. The ancient Jedi base is here."
Ganor and Ronag exchanged glances, they were fighting for a new purpose now, they were fighting to prevent each other from getting the artifact.
"You are dead Ronag."
"So are you Ganor."
The sabers swung through the air.

Zen

My first stop was at the detention block on the base. There were a few Stormstoopers standing guard but they quickly fell to my two sabers. My heart was pumping harder as my wound was still bleeding. Only about half of the students that we left at the base were still alive and many of them were injured.

"Where are the others and what's going on?" was the response I got after I unlocked the cells to free them.

I tried to calm them down and explain to them "Everyone please calm down. Now is not a time to panic. The Death Star has been destroyed but the Empire is still alive. As we speak the others are fighting against huge numbers and are in need of our help. I know your not fully trained, but now you must rise above the odds and help lead the rebels to victory. So go to your rooms, grab your sabers, and let's kick some stormtrooper ass!"

A loud cheer was all I could hear as the students head off to there rooms to grab there sabers and head out to battle! Before they left I grabed one "Do you know where Leia and Madison are?"

The student told me "Darth Mask is holding them in the training arena."

Without another word I headed for the training arena. Once I reached the training arena I saw them. Both Madison and Leia were tied to two seperate posts each. I ran to them with caution. Using my sabers I cut them free as they removed there gags. I held Madison near me, not wanting to let go after all I went through to find her.

Leia expained "You have to get out of here Zen. He set this up to trap you."

I told her "No more running. No more tricks. I end this today." I held Madison closer "Madison, I need you and Leia to get out of here."

I could tell she didnt want to leave but she knew she had to get Leia to safety. Madison wipped the tears from her eyes "Good luck Zen. May the force be with you."

Madison and Leia left me alone as I prepared to battle Darth Mask in a fight to the finish.

Sha'ara

I feel lightheaded by the time Tawain lays me down in the Med-center. The med-droid begins working on me immediately. Soon, the droid has me under a local anasthetic, which thankfully takes away the pain, and restitches me. After I am restitched and the droid can see that I am no longer losing blood, it sets up a transfusion kit to replenish my blood supply. Soon I am feeling much better and resting comfortably.

"Tawain, go and help the others, they need you... Force or not you are a great fighter." I say.

Tawain starts to argue with me that I will be left here alone and unprotected... which actually seems to insult the med-droid. I cut him off with a wave of my hand. "I can take care of myself." I show him that I still have my blaster and my saber. "And don't forget even though I'm injured... I always have a good hand!"

Tawain gives me a lingering kiss and says, "May the Force be with you." as he runs to help the others.

I lay my head back down and doze off.
